Let's see what the Design Team have created to get you inspired this week!...
Liz - It's my Sons Fiancee's Birthday today, she loves a handmade card and layers so I created this using some of the gorgeous chipboard, papers, Polkadots and flower dies from Polkadoodles,
I love this Daisy Daisy paper pack which is the base of my design, the chipboards are so lightweight they are fabulous used in cards as well as mixed media,
I love to create flowers from die cuts, and love to see how many different looks you can get from them,
The Celebrate die adds another little layer too, though I will admit it's been covered with the flower a bit, lol. Here's what else I used on this make:
• Love and kisses stamps • Pretty Flowers 1 dies • Flower flourish dies • Pretty frames and quotes chipboard •
Jenn B - I really enjoyed making this adorable little wallet! It was definitely a challenge for me, but a fun one! I printed out Bunny Rabbit Blank Greeting Card from Polkadoodles, colored with Copics and fussy cut. I used digi papers from Polkadoodles, die cutting a deckled edge circle from one of them to attach the bunny to with foam dimensional tape. I added a die cut heart and the "Spring Wishes" sentiment from the Spring Flower Mother's Day Friends sentiment pack. I used this tutorial on YouTube to help me with the dimensions for the wallet. I was super pleased with the finished product and will definitely be making more of these - I envision one for each of my 3 granddaughters!
Judy - My inspiration project for this week is a Spring themed card. I am using Gill Bunny Rabbit Growing Sunflowers Digi as my focal. He is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. I adhered to white cardstock. A border at the top of the card uses one of the papers from Pretty Spring Printable Papers. The sentiment was printed and die cut with an oval die. I added handcut banners to complete my card design.
Revati - I created a DIY wallet that’s perfect for gifting a gift card. To form the pocket, I printed a fun floral pattern on one side of heavyweight cardstock and a coordinating solid shade on the back, both from the Bee Buzzy Flowers and Plains Paper collection. The pocket itself features a simple center slit to neatly hold the gift card. For the front accents, I printed an adorable Easter bunny from the Bunny Rabbit with Easter Egg Digi Stamp and paired it with a “Happy Easter” sentiment from the Easter Greetings Digi Stamp set. I colored the bunny with my alcohol markers and added a bit of visual interest by die cutting it with a scalloped die. A soft touch of yellow ink blending on the tag ties everything together and complements the colors of the pocket beautifully. You can find more details and full measurements over on my blog.
Sana- Today is a new day for blog posting and this time the DT was given the theme to make a wallet which can hold a gift using a Rabbit. So I chose this 3 cute little bunnies digi set. It comes with the paper backgrounds as well. I die cut the Rabbits with the doily die i had in my stash. The zig zag dies at the background which are giving the framed look are also from my older stash of dies. The wallet size is 7x5. I stuck the bottom frame flat and the top one with 3D foam to make it look dimensional. The doily Rabbits was also stuck with 3D foam. A little bit of thread at the corner and a lace die as well. For the inside i decided to tear off the papers in half and make it as half torn pockets so you can insert some money or a gift voucher. The small tag is the senti which comes in the digi as well. So overall the paper background and bunnies are from the same bundle. It is such a cute digi set I loved making this giftable wallet. It also has a magnetic closure. Dont forget to join in the fun this week.
Enrica - Hi crafty friends! I'm so happy to share with you my new inspiration project. This week the DT was asked to make a wallet and the requirement was to use a rabbit. I decided for the sweet Love You Cart Loads and the Bunnita Shopping digital stamp for the tag/gift on the insidePatterned papers are from the DIGI DEALS - Dahlia Flower 1 and the DIGI DEALS - Bella Bear Morning Coffee. In case you had any doubts... yes, I'm addicted to pink. It's a color I adore and it makes me feel good. And you? What color would you have done it in?
