Now let's see what delights the Polkadoodles Design Team have for you this week - the DT's twist on the theme is Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside...if you want to join in with that theme then go for it!

Helen - Oh I do like to be beside the seaside too, even when it's cold and windy as so often here in the UK.  Our Winnie loves it too, sitting on the dock of the bay, dipping her toes and ooow look Merribelle Mermaid is taking a peep at her.  I have used two collections Starfish and Sandcastles, including Winnie and two backing papers merged together and lovely Meribelle Mermaid too.

Alysha - Hi there! Once again its Polkadoodle Challenge time as always its Anything Goes, this week I am “at the beach” with Winnie enjoying a bottle of Prosecco, as one should. So come and join us here at Polkadoodles for lots of fun inspiration and great prizes for joining in. Hugs Aly xx
Here I've used the Starfish and Sandcastles CD
Carol - how fabulous is it to be by the seaside?  For today's challenge inspiration I've used the very lovely Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection for my pre-coloured image, paper and embellishments.  I added a sentiment from the collection on a sun shape I created using clip art.

Pauline - I have used a super image from the the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles CD collection, all of the gorgeous images on this CD are perfect for the Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside theme.  The papers, topper and elements are all from the CD, I have fussy cut lots of bits and pieces from a selection of the design sheets and from the embellies section.
Lisa - I've used the wonderful Winnie Building Sandcastles digi stamp and merged it with the palm tree digi stamp that can be found on the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles VIP XXL Download to create a scene. I have coloured the scene with alcohol markers and simply mat and layered onto some green card and a tent fold card blank.
Karon - I have used several collections for my card today.  Bonbon Belles Collection for the mermaid, beach huts, starfish, beach ball and all the papers. Then had to use the little girl swimmer from Work and Play 4 Collection. The sentiment comes form the Summertime Collection and the scene and fence is from the wonderful Cherryblossom Lane Collection.

Lots of fabulous Seaside inspiration for you.  You could always sneak out for the day
whilst the kids are in school :-)

Anita - Hi there today for my make for our frame it challenge I have used Cycling girl available here on the Work and play collection 4 this collection is devine with its co- ordinating papers and of course I popped her behind a frame.

Wendy - For this weeks card, I've used the idea of a taking an instant photo and using that as the pictures frame. The image is 'Fishing' is from Work & Play 7, but is also available as a digi here. I've printed on water colour card and coloured using Distress Markers. All the backing papers, sentiment and the 'Gone Fishing' sign are also all from the same collection.

Now lets take a look at the fabulous creations from our Design Team.

NazThe stamp I have used for this card is from TWIGGY AND TOOTS collection.
I coloured the image with Copics and cut it out. Owl's party hat, balloons and the banner as well as the happy birthday sentiment are all from Polkadoodles Cherryblossom Lane
For the word DAD I used Kaisercraft Decorative Dies - Block Words.
I used some Wink of Stella glitter clear pen on the balloons, the hat and and the banner.
To finish off my card, I added few pearls for embellishment.
Claire C  I had a lovely evening colouring one of the gorgeous images from Twiggy and Toots with my Graph'It Markers. I adore this collection, you can find it here on CD or here as a download or if you prefer you can get the digi on its own too, its called Gone Fishing. I've added lots of lovely papers and embellies from the collection and as always Nikky has come up with a fabulous selection of sentiments too

Jenny - I have used an older collection for my card, I decided on a card for my friends grandson. I used one of the boys from the Pretty Tuff collection.  He isn't easily pleased and doesn't like too much fuss so hopefully he'll like this.

Wendy - So for my Fathers Day card, I've used elements from Work and Play 3, available as a CD rom or downloadable here. Both backing papers are from the Male Caravan section, with the check paper having been re-coloured in Craft Artist. The sentiment is also from this collection and I suspect originally susposed to match with the Doctors in the collection, but fits perfectly with my theme. The image is also available as a digi for you to colour here.

AnjieI have used the Skateborder image from the Work and Play 11 collection. The image is also available on it's own HERE. I have coloured him with my Prisma pencils. All the papers, embellies and borders are also from the same collection.

Anita - Hi there everyone today for my Fathers day / male make I have used the postman and co- ordinating papers from the Work and Play 4 Collection  , He is also available on his own Here, I have not coloured him this time round I used the pre coloured version it prints out a dream.

Now lets see what the Design Team has for your inspiration this week.

Asha - Meet Miss Constance. She's the pretty lady in pink you see on my card and she's coloured with Graph'It markers. I have to confess, pink is NOT my colour. But when tempered with some pale blue and violet... let's just say, Constance turned out to be a babe! The papers and image are from the Rose Bud CD. The flowers and bling are from my stash. The entire Rose Bud Collection is also available as a digital download. And you can get Miss Constance  as a clear stamp.

Scatty Jan - For my Pink and Pretty project - I cut out a Butterfly on my portrait and decorated it with all lots of lovely bits and pieces from The New CD Work and Play 10 Collection - Country Life, it is also available as a full download you can find here - I adore these collections each and everyone of them packed to the rafters with loads of goodies. I just added some tiny pearls to finish.

Cheremane - I just love pink and have decided to use the Brand New Work & Play 10 Country Life Cd for my inspiration for you. I've used the fabulous pre-coloured  Foxy Friend Digi she is so pretty in her pink hat, teamed with the stunning papers, flower, sentiment and bow which are all from this super Cd. This really is another super collection and a must have.

Penny - Pink is definitely not one of my go to colours, so as you can see I took the liberty of toning the pink down with some greys and whites.   The lovely swimmer girl was coloured with copics, you can find her in both digi or pre-coloured in the WP4 collection, or as an individual download.  My papers were printed up from the Eden and WP8 collections.     You have to admit this swimmer girl is quite the fashionista with her coordination swimsuit, and floaties (thats what we call the things on her arms out here in Australia).

Karon - Couldn't resist playing with the newly released Work & Play 10 - Country Life collection.  It's gorgeous and full of fabulushness!  I used a pre-coloured digi and then layered her up to make it 3D.  She is also available as a stand alone digi - Foxy Friend.  All the elements are from this wonderful collection.

Agnieszka - hello, today I want to share with you a card, I used pre-coloured image from new CD: Work & Play 10 - Country Life collection. I also added papers, which I printed from Cherryblossom Lane collection. All collection are connected with others and you can combine together :) so you can create your own collection ;)

Lou:  I have used a selection of the papers, embellies, flowers and sentiments from Eden big kahuna collection to create my card.

Aren't they amazing!

The Winner and Top 3 of our Sketch Challenge
is at the end of this post.

Time to take a look at the fabulous inspiration from the Design Team this week...

Lou: I have used Work and Play 6 for my card this week. I have used the hoover digi and made it in to an A4 sized card background. I cut around the edges of the hoover to make my shaped card blank. All the added elements are taken from one of the design sheets found on the CD. As an added embellishment, I have cut up a "real" duster.

Samantha K
I decided to do another 3D project.  Etty and Winston are printed straight from the CD and have also been reversed, so either side shows them. The flowers were all printed and cut direct from the CD and then shaped and glued together. I added little birdies and dragonflies to the top and a couple of butterflies inside. All of the elements you see were from the Winston CD :) You can find more details and photos on my BLOG

Scatty Jan For my shaped card I have used the fabby Dollie Daydream collection, all the Papers, the image and sentiment are from this wonderfull collection. I have coloured with Graph'It markers - You can also buy the stunning image Pondering on her own here

Asha - I made a gift bag using papers and digi stamp from the Dolly Daydream Girl Talk Bonus Edition. The image of the Bouquet Dollie is also available for download as a digi. I coloured her with Graph'It markers, added a bow and ribbon for handles and called it a day.

Cara - I've used the Work and Play 4 cd to create my card today.  I created and cut a beach ball using the papers from the CD on my silhouette.  I printed off the Swimming Girl image and coloured her up with my Graph'it markers. (she is also available separately as a digi download here)   Finally I created "waves" with ribbons and pearls.

Cheremane - This week I've used Festive HollyBobs Cd, whats more you can get lots of the Characters as Digi Images ready to download straight away to craft with. This challenge theme is great for me as I  always tend to make square cards so its nice to do something different. The Hollybobs Angel is one of the pre-coloured images from the Cd along with the fabulous papers and bow with just a few accessories from my crafty stash and whats more you can get lots of other crafts goodies over at the Polkadoodles Website.

Anna - For today's inspiration I chose a round card again, because this type of card, in my opinion, is more interesting to design, in the sense that one can decorate it with techniques, which will not work well for square or rectangular cards. This card is constructed in layers, doily on a doily. Around, and under the last doily, I arranged a fabric flounce, which here presents itself exceptionally well. This time I wanted to do something in blue, so I decided to use papers, which I printed earlier, i.e. two blue papers from the Winston Deluxe Papercrafting CD collection, and one from Polkadoodles cd Work and Play Festive Hollybobs I also used a sign and a snowman from Picknix Collection 2...Gingerbread Twist CD , some white paper, from which I cut out a star, spruce branches, and some red glitter paper, from which I made a beautiful deer. Moreover, I decorated the card with ribbon, pom poms, glitter dots, button, sequins and my favorite tulle. If you want to see more photos, I invite you to visit my blog.

Karon - For my shaped card, I went with a hexagon shape.  I used papers and image from the Work and Play 2 CD collection.  My little gamer is coloured with pencils and layered up on pop dots for depth.  I have inked all the edges of all the layers too.

MelanieI rarely do cards that aren't square so this was a new one for me! I used the new Winston CD for this one, which features some gorgeous material-effect labels, and I used one to form the basis of this card. I used some of the beautiful flowers from the CD and mixed them with layered paper flowers and blue and lilac gems, then added a strip of pink ruffled organza ribbon.

Fabulous creations and inspiration.

Now onto our DT inspiration for this week....

Scatty Jan - I loved this weeks theme, I could not remember all the colours though and had to look them up!!  I used the lovely image Poppy from the Bonbon Belles CD , The sentiment is also from the same CD - The image and the pearls have been coloured in with Graph'It Markers xx

Karon - I tried to take this one literally and that is why I chose to use the cyclist off the Work and Play 4 collection, she is coloured with alcohol markers.  The little puppy (Toto) is from the Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD, cutting it from one of the digis. The housing scene is from the fabulous CD collection Double Sprinkle of Kraft, I added some blue birds and a balloon from the Bonbon Belles CD collection.  And there you have it, a sort of Dorothy on her bike with Toto, off to the State Fair :-)

Asha - I made a patchwork rainbow background using papers from the bumper Sugar Birdies Collection. The image is a pre-coloured digi called Anya from the Fredericka Mini Collection. I fussy cut her and popped her up on foam tape. For embellishments, I used flowers from Bonbon Belles and I finished the project with a few bling.

Fabulous inspiration for you this week!.....
