Week 35 Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

So let's see what the Design Team have been up to this week! We asked the team to make a shaped card - the results are lovely!

Ruth:  I've gone with this rather cute baby on board card, using Having A Giraffe Clear Stamp, coloured with Promarkers.  I've made the card base using the largest Posydoodles Basics Circle die and then layered a small die cut on top after it had been embossed with the Stampin' Unicorn Quilted Picnic Embossing folder and to finish I hand wrote the sentiment on the Posydoodles Basics Tag die cut.  Furry brad and organza ribbon from my stash.  Rather amazed I managed to cut a flat edge to the actual bottom of the card!  Will be sending this to one of my team as his wife is expecting their first just before Christmas!
Ann-Marie  -  For my shaped card this week I went with something I've been wanting to have a go at for a little while.  I've seen these little 'hat' easel cards around blogland so I've had a go at one myself.  There's no image on my card so it's all about the pretty papers and actually it's nice to see them for a change as I'm often guilty of covering them all up!  The beautiful papers I used are Winnie Celebrations 2 Papers 1 printed on to Ultimate Graphic paper.

Nelly: I have created a side stepper card and using Eden Blossoms digital image from the Eden collection the image I coloured her up using Alchol markers. I simply adore this paper pad collection and this butterfly paper coordinated beautifully ! you can find it Here vintage-candy-6-x-6-paper-pack/

Sheri - Hi there!
Today, I'm sharing a card that was so much fun to put together. I combined two images from Polkadoodles, Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles - Ice Cream/Food/Beach Kiosk, and Slurpy Ice Cream - Horace & Boo. To create the shape card, I used the shape of the combined images to cut the card shape out, one for the front and one for the back. Next, I scored the backside at the top and glued both pieces together to create a fun shape card. For the inside, the same image was used, along with a sentiment from the Winnie Sunshine Delights Sentiments Bundle.
Jane - I created a disc fold shaped card base and made a back to school card using the Student/School Little Dude digi image, greeting and chalkboard paper. I also used the pile of books from the Cupcake On a Pile of Books digi and yellow patterned paper from the Butterfly Daisy 6" x 6" paper pack.
Sybil - I created a hinged Post Box shaped card which was a perfect backdrop for the adorable Sugar Pops digital image called "Mailing A Letter" which I colored with copic markers. I layered 2 flowers from the "Flower Flourish" die set and after shaping the petals to give them dimension, I anchored them together with a polk-a-dot brad. I added a die cut from the "Super Sprigs" die set and attached a small, red, gingham bow. Lastly I added silver alphas to spell U.S. Mail.
Merja - On this card I used beautiful Ruby birthday cake digi stamp and coloured it with alcohol markers. To birthday bag and package I used patterned papers from Ula collection and some ribbon. Sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations 2 sentiments package.
On the cards backside I created text board using Love you sentiment, Birthday sentiment and Winnie Celebrations 2 sentiments package. Flowers are from Helga Hippo Floral/Foliage bundle. The board is also working as support so that card will stay standing.
Melissa - I create this different style of card using the 'Holly Butterfly' image. I have coloured it with Copic Markers. The base is a thin piece of wood. I have put a piece of cardboard on the back to write a message to the recipent.
Fabulous projects from the team this week, we hope we've inspired you all again : )

So let's see what the Design Team have been up to this week!  We asked the team to use a black/white theme together with a spot of colour - the results are lovely!

Norma  This week I made a card using the digi called Delivery Time, I decided to color in blue, instead of red, and I really love the result,  I just place the image on a blue piece of card stock and then in a card base.  At the end I use some of my Wink of Stella clear brush to give a little sparkling.
Lisa - For my make this week I have made a card using the Snowman image from the Winnie Heavenly Angel Digital collection. I printed the image onto Kraft card, coloured it with alcohol markers and paired it with my current favourite Christmas papers Papers 1 and Papers 2 from the Winnie Christmas Wishes Digital Collection:
Judy: My project this week is a card using Candy Cane Elf from Winnie Winterland colored with Prismacolor Premier Pencils. The frame and sentiment tag are from Winnie Winterland Tags and Frames Download which I fussy cut. My background paper is from Christmas Joy Digiscrap Download Bundle. I added a snowflake button and twine to my tag.
Dawn - I'm super excited to be sharing with you my Christmas Joy Fold Card. I used an image called  "All Wrapped Up - Winnie Christmas Wishes from Polkadoodles. I also used some digital papers from Winnie Christmas Wishes Papers 1 & Papers 2.
Wendy - I used a digital stamp from Polkadoodles called Cute Snowmen/Dog from the Winnie White Christmas Collection for this gate fold Christmas card. The image is colored with markers and blended pencils. The design papers are from the Winnie Christmas Wishes Set #2. The sentiment was found in the freebie section of the shop. The card is layered and embellished with diecuts, liquid pearls, ribbon and a mini shovel charm.
Kim here using this sweet Winnie image. She is so getting ready for Christmas with all her packages! This adorable tag could go on a gift, a bottle or hang on your tree! I also used digital paper on the back from Winnie White Christmas and the sentiment is from Winnie celebrations sentiments 1.
Jan H My image is from Winnie White Christmas and it is called Wrapped Up Warm. I coloured it with pencils. The background paper is from the Winnie White Christmas papersThe cut and layered flowers are from Winnie Winterland Foliage.
ReneI love fairy images! It is so much fun to coat their wings in a fine coat of glitter. This sweet girl is ready for her Christmas party!

Week 33 Anything Goes Craft & Card Making Challenge

So let's see what the Design Team have been up to this week!  We asked the team to use a black/white theme together with a spot of colour - the results are lovely!

Ruth: I've used the cute Winnie Float Away digi, coloured her with Promarkers. I cut a tag from a scrap of card blank using the Posydoodles Basics Tag die and the sentiment is from the Sentimentals 6x6 paper pack and cut with the banner die from the Basics Tag die set.

Nelly The Polkadoodles team challenge set this week is " use citrus colours" with the following fruits in mind i used corresponding hues in distress inks: Limes, Lemons, oranges and raspberries !
I have used elements from Dragonfly fantasy silhouette stamp and the Graceful flower girl to create a slim tall card and matching tag.

Ann-Marie - For my 'summer fun' make this week I coloured up sweet Winnie 'Stepping Stones' in lovely bright colours to compliment the delicious 'Tropical Sorbet' papers. I love to mat my papers onto black cardstock as it really makes the papers stand out.

Merja - I absolutely loved doing this card because I love bright colours. I coloured sweet Winnie Sunshine Delight Little Friends image with alcohol markers and white gel pen. For the foliage and flower I used SVG cutting files from Eden Collection. I coloured foliage with alcohol markers and cutted flower from orange cardstock (there is also some glitter) and shaped it to 3D form. Background papers are from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Papers 3 set.
Winnie is really enjoying the summer in this card
Sybil - I absolutely love summer and had such fun coloring the darling Butterfly Winnie rubber stamp in summery citrus colors. The papers are from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles set #4, and I continued the citrus colors throughout the card.
Melissa - I would not normally use all these bright colours together but so glad I did. The orange in her dress is now a new favourite. I have used the image Winnie Sunshine Delight Little Friends and coloured it with Copic Markers.
The background is co-ordinating cardstock and the sentiment is stamped onto a tag with the heart as an embellishment.
Have a great day xx

Sheri - Hello there! I'm enjoying what's left of our summer and was really feeling the beach vibe when I made this card. I paired Sunshine Time from the Winnie Special Moments collection with the Beach Kiosk image from the Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles collection. For my papers, I wanted something cheery, with a summertime feel, so I went with a paper from the Work and Play Paper Bundle, Girl Fitness. My sentiment is from the Winnie Mermazing Mermaid Quotes set.

We're excited to introduce the newest member of our Design Team this week - Jane Taylor! Welcome to the team Jane!!

JanePirate Little Dude having Summer fun down on the beach. I popped up the sentiment onto a little tag cut from the same paper as the side panel.

The main image and sentiment are from Pirate Little Dude digiThe paper is from Student/School Little DudeI stamped the sand and sea background using Textures Galore.
