Let's see what the Design Team have created to get you inspired this week!...
Liz - Do you love creating with MDF? I do and thought I'd use one of the fabulous
MDF Altered art boards as the base of my project, I used some watercolour paper on the top with some smooshed distress inks, when dry I started building up some layers. The focal image is created with the
Love and Kisses stamps, I coloured these with distress re-inkers edging with vintage photo distress ink, for a light vintage look. I fussy cut some of the leaves off the stamp set for added interest,
The gorgeous
Celebrate die finishes it off along with some white paint splatters - I think this is great for Anniversaries or Valentines Day. Hope you like it!
Enrica - Hello creative friends! The theme given to the DT for this week's project was a birthday card for a man, and I immediately thought of my dad – he'll be 81 next month! Until a few years ago, one of his greatest passions was fishing, and even though he doesn't have a beard or moustache, this cute
Fishing Gnome digital bundle seemed perfect for my card. I made a round easel card and coloured the main subject and some of the accessories with Copic markers. I'm sure this card will make him smile!

Jenn B - I made a 30th birthday card for a friend of mine. I printed out the Aquarius sign from the
Zodiac / Horoscope Star Sign Constellation set and the Happy Birthday sentiment from the
Birthday Sentiments & Greetings set onto white cardstock and cut it out using a stitched edge rectangle die. I created the background by blending Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink onto watercolor paper, spritzing it with water, and blotting with a paper towel. I stamped an Aquarius symbol in aqua and die cut the number 30 from a scrap of the distressed background. I finished by lightly spritzing the card with silver Mica Spray Stain and adding blue rhinestone stickers.

Revati - While I usually gravitate toward florals and pinks, I also enjoy creating masculine cards now and then. This card was inspired by my husband’s birthday and celebrates his love for cars and long drives. I added a playful touch using the
Rocket Car Little Dude digi stamp, coloured with my Ohuhu alcohol markers. For the background, I used a rustic brick wall image from the same stamp set and grounded my little guy on a strip of white cardstock. The sentiment takes centre stage inside a fun speech bubble, printed and die cut for extra charm. More details are on my blog.

Sana - This week I chose a cool digi perfect for men – the
Motorcycle Tattoo Bike digi. I wanted to make a card where the background papers really popped. I fussy cut the digi image and coloured it using Tim Holtz Distress Colour Pencils and Nuvo watercolour pencils, which are water based and give a beautifully soft effect. I die cut some lace shapes and squares from my stash and hand cut the background paper squares to the sizes I wanted, layering them with 3D foam. The background papers are from the
Gnome Men Motorcycle paper patterns.
Judy - Hey there! I’m sharing a birthday card that’s perfect for an older man. The focal image is from the
Dad Father Celebration Party Gnome for Men bundle. I printed the image, coloured it with Copic markers, and fussy cut it. The patterned papers used for the background are included in the bundle. I finished the card with a sentiment from the
Gnome-tastic Sentiments collection.
