So let's get to today's challenge...we asked the team to make something wintery but cheerful this week...

Merja - We were challenged to do a cheer up winter card and this is what I made 😊I used Watch Your Step image and coloured it with alcohol markers and white gel pen. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but decided to use turquoise and purple as the main colours 'cause I haven't used them so much lately. The background I made with amazing Starry Nights stencil and Distress Inks. And the text is from Sparkle Unicorn sentiments set.

Nunzia: For my cheerful card I watercolored a fun round scene with happy Snowmen couple as protagonists. Then I framed and thickened on Spring harmony paper pack that perfectly matches the color scheme I have chosen. I finally composed a greating message with Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Quotes and Winnie Celebrations 1 sentiments.

NELLY: As I wanted a really colourful card to be cheerful i downloaded a pre coloured image cheer-sparkle-unicorn-colour-digi-stamp-download/ nothing like a good party in January to shake off those blues!
Ruth:  There is something really cheery about the Little Monsters digi's!  I've used Fuzzpea and used Promarkers to colour.  I have a lot of sheets of thin card in my stash that I've had for over 20 years and the layer is one of these.  Sentiment is from the bundle and I've used embroidery thread from my stash to attach it.
Pam:  For my Cheery Winter Card I've selected Winnie Heavenly Angel from the Woodland Songtime Collection. As you can see, my finished card is a 'fancy' fold where the back is longer than the front. .  I added layers of soft lavender clouds using a die cut stencil and Purple Passion chalking ink and clear Wink of Stella to all the edges of her hood, sleeves and dress ruffles.

EIVOR - For this week I made a shaker card in soft and happy colors. The image I used is the cute Cheer-Sparkle Unicorn , and I think it is perfect for the theme "cheer up" , it makes me so glad and happy. My shaker areas I have done with the Posydoodles Basics - Tag dies. The sentiment I used for my card is Just lovely-31 greetings/Sentiment. Papers are from the Vintage Candy 6 x 6 paper pack.
LynnetteI made a cheer up card. I chose to make a DL size using Ice Cream Days -Sparkle Unicorn digi stamp and coloured it in using alcohol markers. I chose bright colours and used a flower design paper from Winnie Celebrations 2 - Papers 1, to make this cute cheerful card.
Caroline - I made this tag using PD7526-Ruby Dog DaysPrint the image then colour with Copics. Fussy cut and layer onto the collaged tag. The tag background was created using flowers from stamp set-Hanging Garden-PD8048 and the sentiment is from the Little Kingdom digital sentiments.

Kim - This week, the DT was challenged to make a Cheer Up/Smile card for Winter.  I immediately thought of coffee!  Coffee makes everything better for me and certainly always puts a smile on my face.  For my card, I really mixed things up - using several products from the darling Sunshine Delights Collection, along with a digital paper from the Winnie Winterland Collection.   I colored up the Sunshine Delights Coffee – Winnie digital stamp using my Copic markers and cut her out.  I added a bit of Nuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew) to the cup of coffee to give it some dimension.  I distressed the edges of all my papers with Distress Ink and layered them up.  I used one summery paper and one wintery paper, hopefully as a reminder that winter doesn’t last forever!  After assembling my card, I added a wooden coffee button that I have had lying around for a knitting project that has never come to fruition.  I thought it was the PERFECT addition to this card.  I used the following:

Beautiful projects this week, ladies, thankyou!
