Wendy - This fortnights challenge is 'Things with Wings' and I've gone with Cupid. You can get the Cupid digi stamp here. You can also get her as part of the fill Work & Play 9 collection, which includesCupid as well as both papers I've used and the tickets sentiments, which I have adapted in Craft Artist to join several of them in a strip. Get the CD here and the Digital collection here.

Anjie - I have used the Sugarplum Daisy CD to create my card. I chose a background and then placed a house, a tree and a butterfly over it. I then printed all the elements out a few times and fussy cut them to create some decoupage. More details and photos can be found on my blog by clicking on my name.

Ria - I wanted to show you a digital card made with the gorgeouss Eden Collection. I only printed the Eden Fairy Wings stamp and coloured her with alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils. I created my card in an photo editing program. And it is really easy as you just layer the items up and add some dropshadings if you like that. I can now print my card on cardstock and just send it out with having to touch glue, scissors or anything.

Anita - Hi there today I would l like to show my first ever Octavia collection image which is available a s a bundle Download bundle and also available as a Single digi .. The backing papers are from the same collection and they are unbelievable the texture is amazing ... Coloured with alcohol markers and enhanced with pencils.

Claire C  I've coloured up this little cutie from Twiggy and Toots with my Graph'It markers. The ribbon, sentiment and butterflies are all from the same collection. Aren't these owls adorable?? You can find the full collection here or you can buy the image on her own here

Jenny-I've used Eden for this card, I love this collection. I've coloured her with Graph'it's now I've got a decent collection.

Let's see what the team have made for you! ....

Scatty Jan  I made a little Easter box this time and filled with yummy chocolate bunnies - I used the fabby Cherryblossom Lane CD - I adore colouring but I went for something different this time and used the pre- coloured image of blossom is'nt she just so sweet, I also used the pre - coloured butterfly - Blossom is also available as a digi here . I cut the little box on my portrait xx

Katie Yum Yum Easter time again, I love chocolate and this is the only time of year except (dare I say it!!) Christmas that you can have choc for breakfast!! But here is my creation I have altered a french fry box to hold all my lovely chocs. I used Cherry Blossom Lane & Sugar Plum Image Have fun Happy Easter and keeeeeeeeeeep Crafting Katie DT xx

Bev here with my Easter make. I've used the 'oh so useful' Cherryblossom Lane and created a scene in my graphics programme and printed it off onto water coloured card. I then took the fab freebie Tatty Twinkle Easter digi coloured it with my Graph'it markers and added a couple of eggstra digi eggs.

Anjie - I've take the challenge on with the true meaning of Easter, which for me is all about new beginnings, and here is my project.
I've used the bird house from the Candy Doodles COLLECTORS EDITION CD-Rom, I absolutely adore this CD, it has to be one of my fave ones ever! I've printed out the templates onto the back of papers from the CD that I printed onto card. When I cut them out I added some Weathered Wood Distress ink around the edges of everything.
And so for the theme I have made a little nest out of some tree bark and added it inside the birdhouse with some baby birds in with mummy bird watching over them.

Shell-For my inspiration this week I have made a cute little Easter basket. I have used the cute little Masie image from the Cherryblossom Lane CD and papers from the Dolly Daydream girl talk CD...

Susan  This week I haven't used any images or coloured anything, I have just used digi Papers from the fab CD Pretty Sweet.  I have also added some embellies from the Fantastic new range of Doobadoo available at Polkadoodles, then I put a few (lots) dabs of Gesso on to make it look a little shabby chic

Ruth: I've made two cute Easter baskets with papers from the Fredricka cd plus some die cut letters and a lot of little cute wrapped treats (and none were eaten during the making of the baskets!) The sentiments were actually part of the chocolate packaging so I decided to add them!

Gorgeous creations from the team, some great ones here!

29 Sharon
Well done everyone! Thankyou all for entering and playing along with us, please grab your blinkies from the sidebar!

So let's get to the challenge!...

Ruth: I've used the fab Paper Boutique Vol 3 to make my card - I cut out all the elements and layered them up how I wished, added some wobbly eyes and glossy accents to the nose. I've layered it up using foam pads for depth. A really great card to make and a wonderful cd too!
Claire C: This challenge was a great excuse to use one of my favourite cds, Cherryblossom Lane to create this 'bendy' card. The CD is on offer at the minute so don't miss it as such a bargain price! The background is one of the precoloured scenes from the Cd and I've coloured the images with my Graph'It markers.

JAN - I decided to go all yellow ready for Spring with my make today. I made a shaped card - all papers, images and sentiments are from the 'Sugarplum Daisy CD' with a few extra little embellies from my stash, including some honeycomb embossing peeking out at the bottom!
Karon -  It's so fun looking through the CD's and finding so many new things to play with.  I made a shaped card using the pre-coloured log and mushrooms, from the Double Sprinkles of Kraft CD  Then had to add the cute Happy Birthday Owl from the Sugar Birdies CD, which I coloured with pencils.  Added a little bit of bling to finish her off.
Kerrie - I had a good think for this Challenge and Chose to use 'Double Sprinkles of Kraft' CDrom this was my first ever Polksdoodles CDrom and still a firm Favourite of mine. I love the Owls on this CDrom but I also love the Pastel Colours mixed with the Kraft Card styles of papers etc aswell. I chose an Image and then had fun choosing Papers, Sentiment and Flowers in similar colour ways and then coloured the Image to match in with the colours I picked. I settle on making a shaped card after i chose the sentiment because its a similar shape. and I couldnt resist a jaunty angle xx

Fabulous makes from the team as always! Don't forget you have until 18th April at noon GMT to enter this challenge and the winner will receive a copy of our Work and Play 1 collection which is worth £10 so well worth entering this one!

Well done everyone and don't forget your blinkies.

Now for our fabulous DT inspiration.

Anjie - On my card this week the image is from the new Work and Play 2 CD, as are the papers. I have added some die cuts and flowers from my stash. I have used a red distress ink on the die cuts and bottom flower. I have used the Dutch Doobadoo Mask/Stencil Art A5 - Flower Swirl to create the embossed panel behind the image.

The image is coloured with Graph'It Markers and the colours I used are:
Skin: 4115, 4155, 4170, 4175, 4135
Hair: 1210, 1230, 1250, 3110, 3180
Apron: 9503, 9504, 9505
Reds: 5210, 5215, 5220

Karon - Hi everyone.  I dream of Spring at the moment, loads of snow still on the ground here in Canada. However, being able to play with these fabulous CD's this week, really cheered me up.  I decided to use the Bird house template off the Candy Doodles Collection CD.  My papers and the birdies are from the Love and Cherish CD.  I added a picket fence, after all every house should have a white picket fence and some butterflies; these are from the Sundae of Seasons CD.  More details are my blog :-)

Kerrie - I got quite a bit excited about the Spring Theme of this challenge and started thinking of Daisies and Yellow which are two things I love about the Season. Ive made an Easel card with a set of Drawers underneath. I chose to use the CDrom 'Sundae of Seasons', I love the Ragdoll Characters from the collection and all the fun Images. All the Papers and Embellishments are from the same CDrom too. I just had to use these cute Bee's and Daisies. I've mixed it up with the Dutch Doobadoo Honeycomb Mask. More details about my Project are over on my Blog xx

JAN - I used one of my all time favourite CDs this time to create my Spring themed card. All papers, image and elements are from the 'Sugarplum Daisy CD' with a little added ribbon, a die-cut and some flowers for extra embellishment.

Claire C - I've used the gorgeous singer from the new Work and Play collection 1, the sentiment and backing paper are from the same cd - soooooo pretty . The image is coloured with Graph'It Markers and I've added lots of flowers, lace and ribbon from my stash

Sally - My card today hasn't any characters as I decided to do this lovely little flower pot card made from plain cardstock and papers from the Sugar Plum Daisy CD Rom.  I cut out a template for the card and matted one of the papers on the front. I then cut out a border to go around the flower put to keep it together, I then added a tag and bow.  I then cut out some cream card and matted it on the brown cardstock for the flower tag.  I stamped Happy Mother's Day at the bottom and then added my punched out flowers from the two background papers, added little buttons for the centres. I also die cut a flowery twine and cut it in half and put it at the back of the flowers.  I really love how this has turned out.

Only a few rules for you to remember

Gift Bag Tutorial

Hi folks,
JAN here again with my promised tutorial for this week's challenge.

Here are the instructions on how to make the cute little gift bag
that I made for this week's DT inspiration, using just one piece of A4 paper.

First, print your chosen paper design onto A4 paper and trim to 29cm x 19cm.
Then transfer the template measurements to the reverse side of your paper.

Score along all the solid black lines, then turn your paper over (printed side facing up)
and score along the two solid pink lines.
Turn the paper back again and score along the diagonal dotted lines.

Make all the folds and burnish with a bone folder,
ensuring the two pink lines are folded from the front.

Now fold down the 2cm at the top to the inside and stick with wet glue.

Fold the bag together and glue the 1cm flap to the inside of the bag.
I added distress ink to all the folded edges next, but this stage is optional.

Fold up the bottom of the bag (like you would when wrapping a present)
and stick with wet glue.
Use a long handled dry paintbrush to reach inside
your bag and press the flaps down from the inside.
Cut a piece of card 10cm x 4cm
and stick inside the bottom of the bag to reinforce.

Punch holes and add your chosen ribbon handles,
tying knots on the inside to secure.

Your bag is now complete - simply decorate as you wish.

Here's another peek at the finished project.

My paper, chosen image and sentiment are all from the gorgeous 'Sugarplum Daisy CD'
which you can buy from the Polkadoodles on-line store

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and found it easy to follow - I would love to hear your comments.
If you encountered any problems please let me know and I will be happy to help.

Hugz, Jan xx
