It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...
THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------
So let's get to today's inspiration... this week the team were asked to create something using digital papers - let's see what they made for us!
Rachael - I made this little tag/recipe book using papers from the Gingerbread Holly release which I love...this is a gift for someone this Christmas so I can't say too much more!
Pam Our Design Team challenge this week was to create our own wrapping paper using Polkadoodles products. I selected the Fancy Intricate Bauble die as my design base. After coloring one image with Copic RV19 and B06, I scanned the image and used Photoshop to duplicate my pattern for the paper. As you can see, I did two designs. After printing, I used distressed oxides with the Polkadoodles Confetti Layering Stencil on the top package and the Timeless Rose, Delicious Swirls Stencil on the bottom package. Lastly, I added coordinating gold and blue organza bows to the packages and they are ready to go!
Merja - I made chocolate gift box using this beautiful paper from Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 6 pack. I think it doesn't need much more so I just stamped a text with Gnome Hand Delivered stamp set, added a big golden bow and some satin ribbon to the sides.
Nunzia: today I propose a very cute packaging. I used some elements from Blooms butterfly bundle: the butterflies that I printed in different sizes, the sentiment on the scalloped circle and two sheets of patterned. I added another one included in Winnie sunshine delights. From these sheets I cut some strips to make the paper bow.
Kim Simpson - This week, the Design Team was challenged to get creative with wrapping. I decided to create a gift box with a belly band using some of the digital papers from the Elvis Wesley Moose Collection. I wanted to make this package extra special, so I colored up the sweet Evie with Poinsettia digital stamp, also from the Elvis Wesley Moose collection, with Copic markers, created a rosette from cardstock that I stenciled, and turned it into an ornament that can be removed from the package and hung on the tree.
Natalia - For today's inspiration, I made two paper rosettes based on new digi papers - Gingerbread Holly Papers 2. I also cut pictures of gingerbread men from these papers and used the sentiments from the set - Gingerbread Holly printable Greeting/Sentiments. My rosettes are perfect for decorating a Christmas tree or gingerbread boxes.
