It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

So let's get to today's inspiration... this week the team were asked to create something they could send as a gift - let's see what they made for us, they're amazing!

Judy: I've created a quick and easy gift card holder for this week's DT project. Paper, embellies, frame and word art from the Christmas Joy Digiscrap Download Bundle were used. This bundle has everything you need for holiday crafting.

NataliaToday we inspire you to make Christmas gifts. I made a Christmas wooden box. I was encouraged by the Lets Go Gnome stamp. I thought it would look great on the box. I painted it half and half with acrylic paints and Distress. To decorate the sides of the box, I used a stencil of Polka Dot Mesh and blue Distress Oxide. It's ideal for small bits of chocolates and cookies or as house decoration. I'm waiting to see your Christmas gifts.

ENRICA - Hello everyone! For my gift this week I made a simple Explosion Box using the cute Baked With Love - Stocking Filler digital craft download colored with Copic, and two papers from Baked With Love - Paper Heaven 1 digital craft paper download.  I completed my project with another small box inside and decorated with elements from the Baked With Love - Embellies digital craft paper download.  Crafty hugs! xx

SabinaFor today's challenge, I made a very simple greeting card with a pocket in which you can put e.g. tea bags. I used the Snowmen Friends stamp, colored it with alcohol markers and added the sentiment from the Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments set.
Donna ParrottFor this weeks project I created a little bag by first embroidering over a stamped image from the Night Sky set onto fabric. Once I’d finished stitching, I created a simple zip up bag and matching tassel.

WOW!! Incredible projects, thanks so much to the whole team, we hope you are feeling inspired!

Wk 47 Card making & craft challenge - Anything Goes at Polkadoodles - and Design Team Call for 2023!

It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST

So let's get to today's inspiration... this week the team were asked to create something using digital papers - let's see what they made for us!

Rachael - I made this little tag/recipe book using papers from the Gingerbread Holly release which I love...this is a gift for someone this Christmas so I can't say too much more!

Pam Our Design Team challenge this week was to create our own wrapping paper using Polkadoodles products.  I selected the Fancy Intricate Bauble die as my design base.  After coloring one image with Copic RV19 and B06, I scanned the image and used Photoshop to duplicate my pattern for the paper. As you can see, I did two designs. After printing, I used distressed oxides with the  Polkadoodles Confetti Layering Stencil on the top package and the Timeless Rose, Delicious Swirls Stencil on the bottom package. Lastly, I added coordinating gold and blue organza bows to the packages and they are ready to go!

Merja - I made chocolate gift box using this beautiful paper from Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 6 pack. I think it doesn't need much more so I just stamped a text with Gnome Hand Delivered stamp set, added a big golden bow and some satin ribbon to the sides.

Nunzia: today I propose a very cute packaging. I used some elements from Blooms butterfly bundle: the butterflies that I printed in different sizes, the sentiment on the scalloped circle and two sheets of patterned. I added another one included in Winnie sunshine delights. From these sheets I cut some strips to make the paper bow.

Kim SimpsonThis week, the Design Team was challenged to get creative with wrapping.  I decided to create a gift box with a belly band using some of the digital papers from the Elvis Wesley Moose Collection.  I wanted to make this package extra special, so I colored up the sweet Evie with Poinsettia digital stamp, also from the Elvis Wesley Moose collection, with Copic markers, created a rosette from cardstock that I stenciled, and turned it into an ornament that can be removed from the package and hung on the tree.

NataliaFor today's inspiration, I made two paper rosettes based on new digi papers - Gingerbread Holly Papers 2. I also cut pictures of gingerbread men from these papers and used the sentiments from the set - Gingerbread Holly printable Greeting/Sentiments. My rosettes are perfect for decorating a Christmas tree or gingerbread boxes.

So let's get to today's inspiration... this week the team were asked to create something using at least 2 papers - let's see what they made for us!

Judy: For my DT project this week I have used the oh so cute Hot Chocolate  from the Gingerbread Holly Digital Collection. I colored this cutie with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut before popping with foam tape onto a die cut circle frame. The backing papers are from Gingerbread Holly Papers 1.  The sentiment can be found within the Gingerbread Holly Printable Greetings/Sentiments.

Natalia - For today's inspiration, I made two paper rosettes based on new digi papers - Gingerbread Holly Papers 2. I also cut pictures of gingerbread men from these papers and used the sentiments from the set - Gingerbread Holly printable Greeting/Sentiments. My rosettes are perfect for decorating a Christmas tree or gingerbread boxes.

ENRICA - Hello everyone! For my project this week I made a 3D Teepee card using 2 papers from the Christmas Joy - Digiscrap DOWNLOAD bundle - digital printables and the 'Ski Time! Too Cute digital stamp. I completed the decoration with elements from the same bundle and die cutted snowflakes.
Crafty hugs! xx

Sabina - Hello everyone. I've prepared a Christmas card for today's inspiration using Distress ink and Winnie Christmas Wishesdigital papers. This cute stamp Snowmen Friends is coloured with alcohol markers.

Donna Parrott - For this weeks project, I stamped the Poinsettias and Holly from the Wonderful Christmas stamp set onto patterned paper from the Gnome for the Holidays paper pack, which I then cut and layered together. I made a circle topper using the Confetti Layering Stencils and stamped a greeting from the Night Sky stamp set.

Wk 45 Card making & craft challenge - Anything Goes at Polkadoodles

It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------

So let's get to today's inspiration... this week the team were asked to create an easel card - let's see what they made for us!

Merja - This time I used this Cute Cats and Kittens image and coloured it with alcohol markers. I wanted to try different card shape so I created this oval shaped easel card. It took some time to get it right but I'm happy with the result. The green papers are from Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1 and the sentiment is stamped with Birthday Celebrations Stamp Set.

Nunzia: It is November and I make a birthday card with Scorpio digital stamp for someone born in this month. I colored the stamp with alcohol markers and blended the background with distress oxide inks, then decorated the frame with patterned papers from Just lovely honeypie bundleEasel catch consists of two Scorpio constellation symbols from Zodiac Star Sign-constellation bundle. Between them is a sentiment taken from Winnie daisy greetings quotes and sentiments-printable-clipart-digital-stamp-digistamp as well as happy birthday one.

Pam ~ For today's Polkadoodles challenge  I've used 'Invitation-Winnie' from the Winnie Winter Collection. For the color palette I selected Copic G24, YG67, YG45, E25, E23. Using Polkadoodles decorative papers from Blushing Blooms Craft pack for decorating then adding the sentiment Let's Celebrate at the top and Happy Birthday tag at the bottom to hold the card open.  Lastly, I added clear Wink of Stella to the balloon and Diamond Stickles to all the fur areas.
Rachael - I decided to use this lovely Winnie celebrations digi stamp with these gorgeous flowers which are from the Blooming Blossoms Clear Stamp collection. I Wanted to have a nice pop of colour and I like this combination so coloured Winnie to match.
Kim Simpson - This week, the Design Team is making November Birthday Easel Cards.  I thought that the adorable Autumn Wheelbarrow Halloween Gnome digital stamp would be perfect for this!  I colored him with Copic markers, cut him out and added him to the front of my easel card.  Because he had a Jack-o-Lantern on a stick, and Halloween is over, I had to get a little bit creative, so I added a sunflower brad over the Jack-o-Lantern, and I think it turned out nicely! This card just gives me all of the autumn vibes!
