Let's see the inspiration from the team - we've been creating lots of lovely inspiration for the coming season!...

Judy: My thank you card for this week's DT project was created with Hello Cute Autumn Fall Fox. He was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut before popping with foam tape onto a layered die cut circle. The flowers were printed from the Ephemera Autumn Fall Fox Download and fussy cut. My background paper is from Noodle Panda Set 2 Printable Papers.
I printed the sentiment from the Winnie Heroes Printable Bundle and die cut. 3 pearls were added to complete my design.

Renske - I created this heartwarming shaker card using Polkadoodles' Big Bunch digital stamp as the centrepiece. After printing the image and then colouring it in with alcohol markers, I decided to use vellum for the shaker window to soften the busy background from the 'Love Birds Valentine' digital paper set. On the shaker section, I added the text 'Thankful to have you in my life' from the Winnie Sunshine Delight Sentiments set. A few strategically placed hearts and a touch of creativity completed this beautiful card. "I hope you like it again. Happy crafting!

Sabina - For this week's challenge I am sharing with you a page in mixed media technique in autumn colours. I applied rustic paint in green and orange colors to the cardboard and dried it with a heat gun. I added some texture paste using a stencil. This gorgeous stamp Birthday Cake Rebel girl is colored with Ohuhu markers and cut out with scissors. I used the paper with hearts from the set Happy Cactus Succulentprintable paper patterns 1 and a sentiment from the Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments set. I added some red acrylic paint and black oil pastel along the edges.
Enrica - Hello everyone! For my Thank You card this week I used the super cute Cat Naps - Honeypie digital stamp, together with Room With a View to create the background and a few add-on from the Retire & Snooze Gnome bundle. This could be a scene from my home: me, my cat, some books and a coffee.. a perfect autumn scene!

Sonja – I just love this cute Jump for Joy girl. I used some extra leaves an Musrooms from Autumn/Fall digi stamps as Background and the sentence thank you is coming from Winnie Celebrations 3 sentiments.

Tinne - Hi everyone! For this challenge I made a very girly and cute card using the sweet Blossoming Winnie digital image. I coloured the image with my Copic markers, and I’ll share my colour combinations below. I used a white gellpen to add some dots on the image. This way the image will become more playfull. The background was made with a backdrop die from my stash, and I put some blue cardstok behind it to match Winnie’s dress. The sentiment I used is from the Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments set. Have fun creating!

Copic marker combinations:
  • Hair: E39, E35, E34, E31
  • Dress: B97, B95, B91, B0000
  • Skin: BV00, E53, E51, E000
  • Blush: R32, R30
  • Freckles: E34
  • Roses: R83, R81, R000
  • Other flowers: YR23, Y32 and BV00, BV000, BV0000 and V05, V01, V000
  • Leaves: YR27, YR23, YR21, YR20
  • Bow: R89, R85, R83, R81, R000

DeborahHello all! For this week's challenge inspiration, I created a fun, A2 sized, Fall Thank You card using the Autumn Fall Digi Packand the Winnie Celebrations 3 Sentiments . For the background, I created my own plaid using washi tape and Distress Oxide Inks (Vintage Photo, Faded Jeans, Bundled Sage, and Scattered Straw).

I colored all of the images using Copics (colors listed below). If you don't want to color them yourself, all of images are also available in a pre-colored version.
  • Scarecrow: Y 21, 23, 26, 32; E 13, 31, 34, 39, 43, 51, 53; B 45, 95, 99; G 82, 85, 94; R 37; YR 09, 31
  • Pumpkins: B 000, 95; W 1; E 23, 50, 51; Y 28, 32; YR 31
  • Basket & Sign: Y 21, 32; E 23, 31, 34, 39
  • Apples: G 82; Y 02, 26, 28; YR 09; R 37

Jane - A quick and simple card made using the lovely Latte Fox from the Autumn/Fall collection. I used various shades of browns and oranges to colour the fox using Spectrum Noir Tri-blends. Unfortunately, I didn't make note of the specific colour blends used, but using these markers makes alcohol marker colouring effortless.
For added dimension, and interest I added a couple of elements from the autumn digi stamp bundle There is so much choice within this collection, that you'll never be short on inspiration.
I kept the card relatively flat for postage purposes, but couldn't resist raising up the pumpkins on a little foam tape, adding some highlights with a Gelli roll number 8. I used the flat chisel of a black marker around the outside of the card, giving an illusion of a black mat to make this card stand out.
Thank you for having a peek, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Wow!! Lots of gorgeous inspiration for you this week to use - we hope you'll share what you make with your Polkadoodles products on our Social Media!

Let's see the inspiration from the team - we've been creating lots of lovely inspiration for the coming season!...

Pam ~ This week's Polkadoodles Challenge was Trim a Tree - any tree. I decided to use Winnie's Birthday Tree for a special December birthday. I've made a fun fold design called a Flip Top Flap Over Card. Lots of fun Copic coloring on the Flip Top, then The star patterned paper is from the Winter Wonderland craft pack with the Polkadoodles 'Happy Birthday' die. Inside the regular card base has a place for writing.

Merja - On this card I used the image and sentiment from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna (you can also find the precoloured Buying the Tree as a single image). Even though the image is precoloured, I added some pink and green colours to it because the printed colours were too light for me 😊 Then I just added the green die cut card base.

Nunzia: this challenge is dedicated to trees. I love the lines of Christmas Tree - Lucy Monkman digital stamp so I decided to color it with alcohol markers; its base is decorated with a patterned paper included in Love Always printable Papers 1 bundle. I used the same paper for the strip and the bow, while the blue panel comes from Just Lovely - Honeypie. The sentiment is part of Winnie Celebrations Kit 2.

Rachael - Hello everyone. I used an image from the Bella Christmas bear release called 'Santa stop here'. Once I had coloured and fussy cutout, I used a pop-up die to add it to the inside of the card making it feel really special for the recipient. . The outside is decorated using the papers from the same release. The Christmas trees I took from the paper and enlarged them. Backing papers are more than just an accent behind the main image, have a close look and see what you can use in different ways!

Wendy - Hi everyone! I have another adorable box card for you today. I used a couple of adorable images from the Christmas Bear bundle as well as one of the amazing backgrounds that come with it. I combined the Decorating the Tree and Sweater images with one of the wintery backgrounds for a stunning scene. I colored everything with Copic markers. I love coloring these adorable bears and making scenes for them. Thank you for looking!

Naomi - Hi Everyone! That time of year is coming, and I, for one, can't wait for the Holiday Season!! This week's card features Carol Singing - Elvis Wesley Moose! For the sentiment, I used Theo Penguin -Greetings/Sentiments Bundle, greetings #33. I coloured him using my alcohol markers. I also added some sparkles and framed the card on red glitter cardstock to give him a little extra shine. Thanks so much for reading. I can't wait to see what everyone makes this week!
Ohuhu Colour Blends I used are as follows:
  • Tree: GY4 GY3 G2
  • Hat: R1 R3
  • Body: BR1 E280 E210 E220
  • Snow: CG2 CGII04

Mayte - I used the beautiful digital stamp Elvis Wesley Moose  and the wonderful sentiments for Christmas...I coloured with pastel markers and Polychromos pencils. Finally I used blue distress ink to look like the winter season !

JanelleHello! I absolutely love, love the color combination for this challenge. I decided to use the Buying the tree stamp set! I hope you enjoy it too! As always you can see more inspiration on my IG @sparkle.craft.happiness and Facebook.

Copic Colors:

  • Skin: E01, 04, 11
  • Hair: E13,15,17
  • Tree: YG61, 63 G46

  •  Purples: V22,25,17

  • Wings/nose: R00, R01, R29

Irre - Hello everyone.
Time for another Halloween project on a cardboard with the digital stamp Pandora witch Halloween which I colored with Copics. For the cardboard, I decorated it with cardboard pieces, twine, paper flowers, keys, cogs, plastic moon, flower pot stones, and art stones. I painted it all with black gesso. I colored it in with ink sprays and Inka gold. I added the digital stamp and a sentiment from the Boo Halloween sentiment pack. Finally, I added some splats to the cardboard.

THE WINNERS of our last challenge are at the end of this post.

Let's see the inspiration from the team - we've been creating lots of lovely inspiration for the coming season!...

Tinne - Hi everyone! For this challenge I made a slimline card using the gorgeous Isadora Witch cute Halloween pre-coloured digital image. I think precoloured images are so great to create cards with! I cut out a basic slimline rectangle with a die, and applied orange ink on it, using a zigzag stencil. I splattered some water and ink on the background to add some interest. The sentiment I used is from the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings set. I combined it with a ‘hello’ sentiment die from my stash. A reel of how I made this card will be available on my Instagram page.

Deborah - Hello all! For this week's challenge, I created a 5" x 7" faux stepper card using the Matilda Witch Digi , Autumn Fall Digi Pack , Boo Halloween Printable Sentiments , and the Pretty & Pink Paper Pack . I thought it would be fun to see her all colored up in Autumn Colors with some sweet sunflowers and pumpkins. She is also available in a pre-colored version.
If you would like to use the same colors I used, I have listed them below.

  • Matilda:
  • Skin - E 00, 11, 13 & RV 11
  • Hat & Dress - E 07, 09, 13, 19; BG 10, 72; YG 91, 95, 99; YR 12, 31; Y 21; W 3; E 50, 51

Enrica - Hello everyone! This week the DT was asked to create a project with Autumn colours and I decided for a simple easel card. I used the super cute Sleeping Lily Ladybug Ladybird and the Country Road Scene background, added pumpkins and leaves from the Autumn/Fall digital download bundle and coloured with Copic. Love this cute scene and those warm colours!

Sonja – I used this little Apple Bobbing Halloween Gnome and made a hoop form my front door for Halloween. I used the as Background from Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers bundle 1 the leaves and pumpkin are coming from Autumn/Fall digi stamps set the sign from Halloween Trick or Treat printable Word Art. How will your front doors look like?

Renske - Hello everyone. For this autumnal card, I got to work with the digital stamp Autumn Wheelbarrow Halloween Gnome. I combined this digital stamp with the clear stamp set "Nuts About You". I placed this cute gnome and squirrel in an autumnal forest. After colouring all the elements with my alcohol markers, I added white metallic paint splatters. The finishing touches included the sentiments 'Autumn' and 'I wheel-y think you're great' from the 'Halloween Trick or Treat printable sentiment set'. I hope you like it again. Happy Crafting!

Natalia Kuzak - Autumn is here and the beautiful colours of this season are around us too. I've prepared today a tag with a cat in pumpkin from a pack of Hocus Pocus Witches Halloween printable digital stamps colored with alcohol markers. I used splashes of Distress Inks as a background.

Sabina - Our challenge this week is "not a square card", so I made a jar shaped card. I used papers from Distress ink papers plain set and Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers bundle 2. This cute little girl called Pumpkin Girl Boo Halloween is coloured with Ohuhu markers. The sentiment is part of Halloween Trick or Treat printable Greetings bundle.

Judy: Hi there! This week's DT card is all about autumn colors mixed with a tiny bit of Halloween! The focal image is from the new Autumn Fall Halloween Treat PrintablesI colored with Prismacolor pencils & fussy cut, then stenciled the sky with blue ink & die cut the hills with Noodle Panda Set 2 Printable PaperThe fence was die cut & embossed with an embossing folder. I printed the sentiment from Ghastly Ghost Halloween Printables & die cut.

Jane Robinson - Hi! Jane R here. For this cute card, I followed these steps from a pinterest pin:
1 Cut a rectangle of white card stock to 4¼ x 5½ inches
2 Cut a strip of white card stock to 1 x 8¾ inches
3 Score that thin strip on the long side at ¼ - 2¼ - 6½ - 8½
4 Glue to two ¼ inch tabs to the bottom rear of the card panel
5 Cut two more strips of white card stock to 1 x 4¾
6 Score both of those strips at ¼ - 4½
7 Glue the ¼ inch tabs to the inside of the previously glued strip, spacing evenly
NB. Burnish all score lines well

To decorate I used: Polkadoodles patterned paper that I adore and can use time and time again. Frank digi stamp, Gloria digi stamp and Ghost digi stamp. Sentiment from a printable of so many greetings you'll be spoilt for choice. I coloured the digi stamps with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend alcohol markers from Crafters Companion - I used the following colours:
Purple Blend, Green Turquoise Blend, Ice Grey Blend, True Blue Shades, Coral Shades, Gelly Roll White no.8, Gelly Roll black glaze pen for the eyes

This card when flat will need a larger envelope as the dimensions are 6¼ x 5½. Thanks so much for looking and I hope you give this one a try. Please post your creations in the Polkadoodles Facebook Group. We’d love to see your makes!
