Time to join the team & see what they've all been up to for this week's Water-Theme challenge....

CariFor this card, I used the Meribelle Mermaid Friends image. I colored her with Copic markers, and fussy cut her out. I reversed this image to be able to get a second pair of dolphins and fussy cut them as well. I did the same for Winnie’s Starfish image. For the main card, I used Starfish and Sandcastles Papers 8 and copied just the white portion of the paper. For the “portholes” I used the blue section of the same paper and cut them with standard circle dies.  The background paper for the shaker sections is Mermazing Mermaid Paper. I adhered Meribelle and the dolphins with foam tape. Last, I printed the sentiment from Mermazing Mermaid Quotes and adhered it and the starfish with foam tape as well. I added a few pink “bubbles” for the final touch.

Annie - The DT have been asked to create some sort of aperture card with a water theme. My design is an inside Tunnel Card, which I designed on the silhouette cameo. Using Meribelle Mermaid Pearl digital images, I printed them several times to attach extra bubbles to the card. I printed Winnie Star Fish Papers and cut my outside shapes with this beautiful paper.
Winnie Star Fish and Winnie Star Fish 2 were both printed up and coloured with copic markers. And Sparkle Unicorn sentiments were added to the inside to finish it off.

Judy - My project this week is a slimline card with a water theme and aperture.
I used Ruby Raindrop Umbrella colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
The background was done using a stencil and inking. The sentiment was stamped
on the inside. I added a border along the bottom edge with a stencil.

Keyla - For this week's challenge of a water-theme card, I just knew I had to make a mermaid one! I used the Lil Miss Sugarpops Mermaid digi stamp and the Winnie Lets Hang Out printable paper bundle. I used three different patterned papers to create this, and I think they work really well together! I even coloured in the digi stamp to match the lovely teal from the papers too.

Janet.....The image I have used this time is Meribelle Mermaid Seahorse and I've coloured it with Polychromo pencils. The paper waves are from Winnie Celebrations kit 2 papers 1 and 2. I  then highlighted some areas with a white pen and a glitter pen.

EvaToday I made a Domed Aperture Card for you. I created a small 3D scene with the two digistamps Rocco Dinghy and Tropical Trees.

GemmaI made a card with a window heart aperture. For this card I used a Winnie Starfish/ Sandcastles float away colored with copic and polychromo pencils. The sentiment is Winnie Mermazing Mermaid Quotes.

EnricaRaise your hand if you would like to dive with a trusted friend!
For my first aperture card ever I used the cute Winnie Mermaid Mermazing - best friends digital stamp, together with two of the Winnie Starfish / Sandcastles - Papers 1 and Winnie Mermazing Mermaid Quotes on the inside.

Ana - I wanted to celebrate the beginning of summer so I made this mermazing pop-up box card.
For this card I chose amazing Lil Miss Mermaid dolphin digital stampI wanted to make underwater scene so I also used stamps: Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles - Fish2Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles - Sea Horse and Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles - SeashellsI used papers from Mermazing Ocean paper packThe sentiment is from Winnie Mermazing Mermaid Quotes.

Fabulous crafts ladies - we hope we've inspired you all this week!

WK 25 Anything Goes Card making and craft challenge

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST

Have you seen our latest releases in store?
Make sure you check them out, we have some great offers so don't miss them all!

Time to join the team & see what they've all been up to for this week's challenge....

We are really thrilled to introduce a new Team Members this week - we're excited to show you all the projects Debbie is making for your inspiration, make sure you follow them - and our other teamies - on social media so you get all your latest inspiration as they create it for you!

Welcome Debbie!!

The team's challenge this week was to make something girly, with two contrasting colours.

Debbie - I’ve used Sky’s The Limit for this bright and fresh summery card. I’ve opted to go for pinks and greens for a fresh contrast using Lets’ Hang Out digital papers, along with a lovely sentiment from the Winnie Lets Hang Out range. Finished with some daisies and butterflies and as always a touch of glitter!

Jane - I have a real soft spot for Ula in all her variations and this time I chose Ula Sparkle. I knew I wanted to use pink as a colour and selected a paper from the Timeless Rose pad. I then settled on green for my contrast colour. Once Ula was printed and coloured up I cut her using the largest ovals die. The sentiment which comes with this digi set was die cut into a tag. I then matted it all up and added some flowers using Flower Flourish dies and leaves using Super Sprigs dies. The heart die is from Squarey Swirly Hearts.

Merja - I used text editor and added Ula Be Strong image and text from Ula's Life collection over the digi paper from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles paper 5 pack. I printed it and coloured Ula with alcohol markers. I also added some glitter glue to add the sparkle.

Pam - For our Girly with Contrasting Colors challenge, I've selected Honeypie Best Friend Hugs from the Honeypie Bundle to make my hot pink and royal blue project card. After printing on Neenah 110# cardstock, I used my Copic markers for coloring and a notched square die set for the multiple layers. The blue patterned paper is from Winnie Celebrations 2 digi package. For the embellishments, I added a row of die cut pink hearts from my stash, three tiny enameled hearts and the sentiment from the Winnie Sunshine Delight package

Nunzia - It's time to celebrate friendship with a girly card. So I colored this sweet Honeypie Best Friend Hugs digi and framed it with first a pink sheet from Spring Surprise 6 x 6" paper pack and then with a hand-coloured green cardstock. The sentiment comes from Winnie celebrations 1 sentiments digi set.

Ruth - I've used Ruby Sweet digi stamp and coloured her with Promarkers plus a little glitter glue on her underskirts. I've layered the image onto some lemon card I found in my stash and then used Blushing Blooms 6x6 paper underneath. Finished it off with liquid pearl dots, ribbons and half pearls from my stash and blingy numbers.

Fabulous crafts ladies - we hope we've inspired you all this week!

WK 24 Anything Goes Card making and crafting challenge at Polkadoodles

We are really thrilled to introduce some new Team Members this week - we're excited to show you all the projects they're making for your inspiration, make sure you follow them - and our other teamies - on social media so you get all your latest inspiration as they create it for you!

Welcome to Eva and Gemma!

The team's challenge this week was to make something with a twist - and they came up with some great ideas!

EVAI made this flowery twisted easel card for the challenge. For this I used the cute digistamp Bella Bear and the sentiment from this digistamp set.

Gemma: I used Ula be a Mermaid for my card. I’ve colored with copic markers and polychrhomo pencils. The background paper is from Winnie sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven and sentiments with Winnie Mermazing Mermaid Quotes

Annie:
 I used
Pansy, The Darling Buds [this also has a bonus of coloured and black and white image] Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 1,  Sparkle Unicorn sentiments . I Paper pieced & the twist of my card was cut on the silhouette cameo.
My twist

Judy: I created a twisted easel card for this week's DT project using Serenity Dancing Digital Download as my focal, but this  image is also available as a clear stamp, Serenity Daisy Dance. I colored the digi with Prismacolor Pencils. The embellishment flowers and sentiment are from Rose Budd Craft Download.
Kim: For my card today I used Serenity with a fence which I colored with copics. The background papers are Toadally Cute 6 x 6 papers. The twist for my card is I combined this digital stamp with clear acrylic stamps from Toadal Sweetheart and Unfrogettable. Can you tell what I used? Who knew a frog and fairy would come together so nicely.
Janet: I've made a double-fold card this time. So the sentiment is on the front and the image is hidden inside. The image is Gil Rabbit Grows Sunflowers. I've coloured it with polychromo pencils. The background papers are from Winnie Celebrations kit 2 Papers 1 and papers 2. The sentiment on the front is from Winnie Celebrations Kit 2 sentiments.

Ana: This week I have made a twist card. For this card I used digital stamps from  Winnie Sunshine Delights Embellishments Bundle Digi Scrap and Blossoming -Winnie, too. I fussy cut all the images and colored them with Promarkers and added some white gel pen details. I wanted to create outdoor scene so I used blue ink for the sky and green ink for the grass. Also, I made my own sky pattern by making clouds out of self-adhesive paper. Both sentiments are from Let's Hang Out -37 Sentiments Bundle.

Fabulous ideas ladies - we hope we've inspired you all this week!
