Here is some fab inspiration from the team...
Scatty Jan Using one of my favourite ever collections Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles , I have made a little (large) gift shop , stocked full of lovely seaside tat treasures. The Brick paper is from Work & Play 2 and the wooden paper is from the Distressed Wood paper collection - Lots more details and photo's on my blog xx

Claire C  For my DT project I've made a little concertina book with a stampbord cover using stamps from Tropical Underworld and coloured them with Graph'It Markers. I've stamped the images with Memento Inks and added distress inks in blues and green. The stampbord cover was then triple embossed with clear UTEE....

Anjie - I have made a door sign for our new summer house for this weeks challenge, using an MDF plaque. I used one of the plainer papers from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection as a back ground. I then used the Tropical Oceans stamp set to stamp some background images onto the paper. I then stamped the porthole and the beach hut. Finally I used a few of the MDF pieces from the Nautical large MDF embellies set Lots more info and photos on my blog.
Tracy -  So I have the perfect excuse to play with the wonderful Meribelle collection. I used the image  called  Swimming around.  I had a chance to sit down, relax, music on and colour with copics and finished off with prisma pencils to make picture pop out.
Michelle I have used Starfish and Sandcastles Collection for my project what else would I use
for by the seaside theme I used papers, embellishments, creatures and image from the collection
for the image I used Copics to colour...
Bev here with my seaside creation for you using a pre coloured topper from the oh so useful Bonbon Belles. I run along the beach 3 times a week so used the colour scheme I see as my inspiration.

Katrina - I've made a little canvas using the beach hut digi stamp from the Summertime collection and the fence/shoreline digi from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles. I resized and arranged them in Craft Artist before printing onto tissue paper. This was glued onto the canvas and I painted over the top with acrylics.
Fabulous inspiration by the Design Team!

Now let's see what delights the Polkadoodles Design Team have for you this week - the DT's twist on the theme is Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside...if you want to join in with that theme then go for it!

Helen - Oh I do like to be beside the seaside too, even when it's cold and windy as so often here in the UK.  Our Winnie loves it too, sitting on the dock of the bay, dipping her toes and ooow look Merribelle Mermaid is taking a peep at her.  I have used two collections Starfish and Sandcastles, including Winnie and two backing papers merged together and lovely Meribelle Mermaid too.

Alysha - Hi there! Once again its Polkadoodle Challenge time as always its Anything Goes, this week I am “at the beach” with Winnie enjoying a bottle of Prosecco, as one should. So come and join us here at Polkadoodles for lots of fun inspiration and great prizes for joining in. Hugs Aly xx
Here I've used the Starfish and Sandcastles CD
Carol - how fabulous is it to be by the seaside?  For today's challenge inspiration I've used the very lovely Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles collection for my pre-coloured image, paper and embellishments.  I added a sentiment from the collection on a sun shape I created using clip art.

Pauline - I have used a super image from the the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles CD collection, all of the gorgeous images on this CD are perfect for the Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside theme.  The papers, topper and elements are all from the CD, I have fussy cut lots of bits and pieces from a selection of the design sheets and from the embellies section.
Lisa - I've used the wonderful Winnie Building Sandcastles digi stamp and merged it with the palm tree digi stamp that can be found on the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles VIP XXL Download to create a scene. I have coloured the scene with alcohol markers and simply mat and layered onto some green card and a tent fold card blank.
Karon - I have used several collections for my card today.  Bonbon Belles Collection for the mermaid, beach huts, starfish, beach ball and all the papers. Then had to use the little girl swimmer from Work and Play 4 Collection. The sentiment comes form the Summertime Collection and the scene and fence is from the wonderful Cherryblossom Lane Collection.

Lots of fabulous Seaside inspiration for you.  You could always sneak out for the day
whilst the kids are in school :-)

Embossing on white card always looks so crisp! Pop over to my blog for colouring details....

NazThe image I have used here is from WORK and PLAY 10 COUNTRY LIFE called FOX DIGITAL STAMPWOODLAND LOG/TREE is from TWIGGYand TOOTS OWLS Collection. Like I said in my previous posts, I like to combine different stamps and images form different collections. I coloured the images with Copcis and added some watercolour pencil for shading and added few pearls and some stitching for embellishment.

Bev here with my take on this fortnights challenge. I used the brilliant Bonbon Belles Collection for my easel card, honestly Nikky has crammed so much on these two discs that you'll be ooing and ahhhing for hours! I've had to take time out of DT duties recently and have been struggling with my crafty mojo but it's great to be back!

Ria- For my card I used my favourite collection TWIGGY AND TOOTS ;) sorry I just can't help myself I have to use them Alot hihihi So I combined Twiggy Hats off and one of the birdhouse stamps and coloured them with Pencils. My embossed parts are on the Tattered Lace Dies that I used.

Anjie -  I have used Serenity Earthstar from the Serenity Fairy Wishes bundle. You can also buy the image individually HERE. I have used Graph'It Markers to colour her in and the embossing is done using a folder from Tattered Lace.

Jenny - I have also used Serenity but I chose Butterfly she is from the Serenity Wishes Bundle and individually too. I have used both Graphic markers and Copics, I have used a corner embossing folder for something a little different.

SerAnita - Hi there today I have used the adorable collection from Cherry Blossom lane cd collection , I
used the pre coloured image it's so cute, I also used an A4 embossing folder.

Wendy - I've used two different types of embossing on my card, both heat and dry. The image I've used is A Gift for You from the Twiggy & Toots collection.  You can get the full collection here, or just Twiggy as a digistamp here.

I decided to colour up Eden Cherryblossom part of the Eden collection, The sentiment is also from there, but also as a digi here. I coloured up using polychromos. The Paper is from Dollie Daydream goes East and I have punched the flowers out of the same.

Asha - I'm a little bit country this week! This simple card is made using papers, sentiment and an image from the Work and Play 10 Country Life Full Digital Craft Collection. I coloured the Dog Walking Country Lady with Faber Castell Polychromos and added 3 buttons as embellishment. This image is also available as a download digi.

Penny - At a recent retreat a friend and I were talking about cards for teachers and making this a little bit different and individual.  I coloured up the Teacher Digi from Work and Play 3 and combined her with some of the digi papers from the kit to create the cute little blackboard frame.

Karon - For my card this week, I chose to use the fabulous female golfer, off one of the design sheets, from the wonderful Work and Play 11 Collection.  I printed her out several times and then layered her up pyramid style.  I made a Z-Fold card and all the papers, sentiments, are from this wonderful collection, it's also available as and instant download.  The image is available as in individual download Female Golfer.

Cheremane - Oh what a challenge this is for me as I adore girly but always use pink so it was a nice refreshing change not to.  I used the fabulous Work and Play 11 Cd to create my card and used the
pre-coloured Gymnast isn't she adorable, you can also get her as a single Digi if you choose. Trust me though you will want the whole collection its fab and super for so many occasions.

Agnieszka - hello Crafters :)Today  I've used Work and Play 10 for my card this week,  something girly but no pink! I used pre-coloured image - isn't she is so cute ;) I love this colour combo and I think that green and blue is also suit to girly project. I added some flowers and pearls. Hugs

Lou: I've gone all "grungy" for my girl inspired card and have used lots of elements from Bonbon Belles to create my card. Added some "bling" to lift the colours and used my GraphIt gold glitter shaker pen to highlight the words.

without further ado.......

Scatty Jan for my Flower Power card I have used the lovely  CD collection Bonbon Belles - It has two CD's absolutely full to the brim with so many goodies - All the papers, flowers and embellies I have used are from the collection. Georgia is one of the many characters that can be found on this collection and I have coloured her with Graph'It markers

Asha: For my project, I'm travelling back in time to this pretty CD released in December 2012 called Cherry Blossom Lane. Adorable characters and cute papers and embellishments fill this spring themed CD. I've coloured the cute bunnies having fun around the Maypole with Graph'It markers and added a floral border. The sentiment is from the In The Garden CD. More papers flowers from my stash for extra power!

Susan  -  Flower Power !!!!!!! for my card this week I have used papers and a precoloured digi from one of my favourite collections Rose Budd CDThe flowers are from the amazing New Octavia collection  also available as a download.  Just goes to show how you can mix & match all of your collections.

Karon - Thought I would try something a little different this week and made this little gift.  The frame is 3.25" square and I have used the Dollie Daydream Goes East collection.  The backing paper, butterfly and flower are all from this wonderful collection.  I layered up the butterfly and added some glossy accents and then layered up the flower too, also adding some glossy accents.

Melanie - I've once again used the amazing Picknix collection for my card, specifically the In The Garden bundle, which is full of gorgeous images, sentiments and papers. I layered the digital sentiment over a journaling card in a Word program before printing out, then coloured the flowers around the image with a red Spectrum Noir pen. I layered the journaling card with a lovely green polka dot paper from the CD and some scrap dictionary paper from my stash, then embellished with paper flowers, gems and lace ribbon.

Cheremane - For my take on Flower Power I have used the adorable pre-coloured Etty Bear from the Winston Cd. You can also get Etty as a Digi download on her own, isn't she just the cutest, I have also used the papers and flowers all from the Winston Cd. Head on over to the Shop where you can get all your accessories to complement your Cd's & Downloads for all your crafting needs.

Claire C I've used the gorgeous Work and Play 8 collection for my card, I love this cd and used my trusty Graph'It Markers to colour up the supercute image! I've die cut the flowers from some scraps of the pretty backing papers on the CD and added a sentiment, some lace, velvet ricrac, pearls and die cuts. To finish off i've used one of the fabby paper bows from the CD too

Anna I really like challenges with flowers. I love arranging flowers on cards into bouquets, or using only two or even one, large flower. Flowers add charm to projects and I always associate them with a beautiful garden. This time, I present an Easter card in violet colors from from the Winston Cd, layered with beautiful doily and gorgeous flowers.

Now onto this weeks fabulous inspiration from our Design Team.

To enter the challenge you can go HERE!

Don't forget you do not need to use Polka Doodles products to enter our challenges.  But please remember to follow the rules of there ---->

Scatty Jan For my Tic, Tac, Toe I have gone for the middle row - Image , Ribbon and Buttons - The lovely image is Maddie Twirling Curls -I printed her onto the lovely ultimate Graphic and  I have coloured her using Graph'It markers - I have paper pierced her hat using one of the papers from the Baby Boom collection

Ruth:  I've gone for something simple and used the bottom row - Embossing, Buttons and Polka Dots. I found some laser cut hearts (perfect for Valentine's Day!) in my stash when having a tidy up and teamed it with some hot red polka dot paper from Work and Play 5 - Festive Hollybobs.  Everything else is from my stash.

Karon - I decided to use the diagonal for my card - Sentiment, Ribbon, Polka dots.  I used the fabulous Work and Play 7 Collection for this card and just inked around the edges.  This karate girl is is from one of the design sheets and is a pre-coloured digi.

Asha - I made a Valentines's card for my young nieces using the image from the Sugar Birdies CD and sweet button paper from the Bonbon Belles Double CD. I've also thrown in the following: polka dot ribbon, dotted flower, diecut hearts, embossed heart, buttons and stitching. My design follows the right column (Diecut - Stitching - Polka Dots) or the middle column (Image - Ribbon - Buttons) or the bottom row ( Embossing - Buttons - Polka Dots) or the middle row (More Than 2 Layers - Ribbon - Stitching) or the bottom left to top right diagonal (Embossing - Ribbon - Diecut). Decisions ... decisions!

Jane - Really couldn't wait to get started as a new Design Team member and therefore here is my creation for this latest challenge.  I used the wonderful Amelia with Basket digi.

Anna This time I made a card in shades of violet for a Name Day, which as it turns out, is celebrated only in Poland. I prepared the card with paper from the Winston Deluxe Papercrafting Collection , using left row : Sentiment, More than 2 layers, Embossing or  the bottom left to top right diagonal row : Embossing, Ribbon, Die cut, or  the bottom row : Embossing, Buttons, Polka Dots. A layered card with die cut accessories, flowers and a string of pearls.

Lou:  I think I may have used more than one line when making my card ... well I just needed to make sure ...! I have used the line "sentiment, more than 2 layers, embossing". I have used Drummer Troy clear rubber stamp (now sold out) on my card, although he is available as a digi download and also can be found on the Work and Play 1 CD

Cheremane - Hi everyone and New Year Wishes to you all. For this challenge I went with straight down the middle of the grid, Image,Ribbon,Buttons. I have decided to use the Brand New
Work & Play 8 Cd. Wow wow its jammed packed and a major must and I couldn't wait to use it. I have used the Violin Girl which also comes as a Digi just on her own, I also used three of the papers and one of the sentiments from the CD. Be sure to take a look at the
