Now let's see what wonderful inspiration the Design Team have for you this week.   The DT's twist on the challenge theme is........CHRISTMAS and if you want to join in with that theme then go for it :-)

We would like to welcome another new member to the Polkadoodles Design Team.  Say hello to Norma, she has a wonderful blog and you must pop along and take a look. She has jumped straight in this week, so check out her creation below, along with the rest of the fabulous Design Team :-)

Norma.- For my first project as a DT in Polkadoodles,  I decided to make a winter card that hides a gift card, I  used  MissPretty that was released  in June and some of the trees for the kit  Winnie Winterland  I colored it with my copic markers. I think that it can be super cute for a little girl.

Ruth:  I've used one of the soon to be released Christmas stamps!  I've combined Frosty The Snowman with the Christmas Gifts stamp.  All coloured with Promarkers and added to an acetate card.  Such cute stamps and perfect for kids!

Helen - Christmas will soon be here so I'm starting on the gift bags for those pressies and you can't beat this little Owl Gift Bag. It's a template from the Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Collection, bet you didn't know that was there and soooo easy to make, just print , cut and stick!! You can find it right here.

Karon - I have used the fabulous new Polkadoodles Stamp sets on my card today.  The Christmas Poinsettia/Holy set and the Christmas Santa Claus set.  I am not one for colouring, so I stamped the Poinsettia out several times on green then red papers (my papers are from the wonderful Festive Christmas collection), then I fussy cut the poinsettia and layered it up with some foam tape.  Then stamped the sentiment onto the blue paper - perfect.

Carol - Today I have made a Christmas card with papers from the  Festive Christmas collection and topped it with Hollybobs Santa from the Work and Play 5 - Festive Hollybobs collection.  To make the cutting out easier, I combined Hollybobs Santa and the background paper he is on before I printed it. Then I used some nesting dies to cut each layer before assembling the card - so it was much easier than fussy cutting Hollybobs Santa, though I did fussy cut the flower.

Lisa - I have made a card today using papers and embellishments from the Festive Christmas Download.

Craftica - Today I used Winnie Winterland - Design Sheet 13  to create little messages to add to my daughter's classmates little presents for the last day in school, I'm working on everything ahead of time as she usually gets a lot of brilliant ideas the night before going on Holiday.

Shylaa - I have fallen in love with Ula's Life. I have created a Christmas card with Ula life journal stamp. Adhered the pattern paper to the card base. Added the postage die cut panel above it with foam tape. Tied a twine around it. Decorated the diecut panel with 3d stickles and sequins. The Ula image is water coloured with staedtler colour pencils and did a fussy cut and adhered to the diecut panel.

Lots of fabulous creations to inspire you.

Lisa - Today's make is a quick make, ideal for very last minute Christmas Cards! I have used papers, a sentiment and a Snowman and Heart embellishment from the Festive Christmas Download. Now let's see what wonderful inspiration the Design Team have for you this week.
The DT's twist on the challenge theme is to Weave some Paper and if you want to join in with that theme then go for it :-)

Alysha -  I cut out a tree shape with my Cameo and then weaved the pattern behind the tree using Polkadoodles Xmas Papers and matted it onto some red card. Looking forward to seeing your projects this week.

Helen - I've dusted off my paper weaving and made a background paper using papers from the new Baked with Love Collection to go with the little ginger in her snowglobe. I've added some flowers and a festive decoration from the collection to. You can find everything  right here.

Pauline - I've used four papers from the Lavender Tea CD to weave a background for my clean and simple Winter Birthday card, the flower is also from the CD.

Jacki - For my card I have used The festive Christmas collection I love these papers they are gorgeous.  I decided to keep my card clean and simple focusing on the pattern of the weave and the image.

Lisa - I have used fabulous papers from Festive Hollybobs Full Download Collection to weave a square, which with a paper ribbon, bow and some foliage cut with Cherry Blossom Branch Die has turned into a Christmas Present. The sentiment on the little tag is also from the collection.

Elena - For my card I have used BAKED WITH LOVE papers. I love these cards, so I decided to bring out their beauty with a simple card.

Carol - If you take a couple of patterned papers from Winnie Winterland and weave them together to put behind a house shaped cut out. Then add a couple of characters from Baked with Love, add some more decorations and a tag and here is what you get:

Karon - I have used the wonderful Winnie Winterland collection for my card today.  I weaved some of the papers and these were placed behind the Stocking window.  Also used the wonderful Super Sprigs Die and the Flowers 2 Die for the flower on the top of the stocking.

Lots of fabulous creations to inspire you so we hope you have some fun with our theme, although of course you don't HAVE to weave because

Now onto the fabulous inspiration from the Design Team.

Ruth:  I've used the wonderfully Christmas (especially in red!) Bubbleicious Frame as my background and starting point then made a wreath of poinsettias with  the very versatile Flowers 2 dies - I pinched the edges.  Papers are printed from Winnie Winter Wonderland (print on both sides so you don't get any white showing) plus added some seed beads to the centres.  And to finish off, the little tiny sentiment tags have been cut with the Versatile Door / Window / Flap die.
Helen - Feeling a lot Christmassy at the moment so I've taken the Festive Hollybobs collection that you can find right here in the store and merged 4 images to make a Christmas Scene and used some papers from the collection too.  I've add some corners and the tree branch from the fab new dies that cut like a dream you find them here too.
Pauline - I've used the two adorable gingerbread people from the Festive Christmas CD, the sentiment and papers are from the CD as well.  I also used the fabulous new Bubbleicious Frame Die and lots of Distress Ink to create a rustic feel.
Alysha ~ Ooooooh I'm feeling all Christmassy like my team mates too. Here I have made a lovely Christmas card using Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun CD. Looking forward to seeing your creations this week. hugs Aly xx
Lisa - For my make today I've used the fabulous Festive Christmas Download Collection and I just love the rich traditional colours in this collection. I have layered the leaf image multiple times over red and green papers from the collection, printed, fussy cut and shaped into a Poinsettia, with a lovely bit of bling for the centre. I have kept the rest of the card fairly simple, using a sentiment printed onto white card and the inside of Bubbleicious Frames Die as a template to cut it out, layered onto the Bubbleicious Frames Die cut from Kraft card and a stripey paper from the collection.
Karon - I have a play with one of the wonderful pre-coloured toppers from the Festive Christmas Collection and used the Super Sprigs Die to add some leaves to the white poinsettia.  I added some layers by cutting out an extra reindeer and birdhouse.
Jacki - For my card I decided to merge 2 of adorable images from the Twiggy and Toots collection the papers are from the Festive Christmas collection I distressed them added diluted paint splats and frantage then added a large christmassy bow.
Carol - For my inspiration I've used the Winnie Winterland collection and used papers, a tag, some holly foilage and the very cute Candy Cane Elf to decorate a step card.
Elena - For my ispiration I've used full elements of Winnie Winterland Collection.  Papers, elements and stamp painted with distressink. Front card more elements and paper base are red, while the back of the card is a collage of objects mounted on several levels with photoshop and green to fit ours theme.

Such fabulous creations from the team!
