Scatty Jan - For my colour clash I went for pinks and reds, wow they do clash! I used the lovely Dollie Daydream goes east backback digi which I coloured with Graph'It Markers. The Papers and flowers are Dollie Daydream Girk Talk collection xx

Melanie - I chose to use some elements from the Dolly Daydream Goes East CD for this card, because of its lovely bright colour palette. I absolutely adore this watercolour-effect patterned paper, which I trimmed around and attached to an acetate card front. I chose to clash the pinks, reds and purples with a bright turquoise, which I think gives a lovely summery effect. The sentiment, paper banners and the dragonfly are all taken from the CD, and I embellished with a little bit of ribbon, a paper flower, button and gems.

Karon - Wow - great minds think alike.  I too have used the Dollie Daydream Goes East collection.  I made up a fan using black card and added a patterned layer, and some pearl dots.  The sentiments and butterfly are also from this wonderful collection.  The base butterfly paper is from the Fredericka CD and the blue polka dot paper is from the Bonbon Belles CD.  My printer was out of some ink, so I had to raid my stash of papers and luckily already had the fan and butterflies cut from previous sessions.

AnnaLately I’ve been making more cards using torn paper. I decided to make such a card for today’s inspiration. I chose a beautiful purple paper from Dolly Daydream Goes East CD , which in itself is decorative thanks to its texture; I cut it, tore it and arranged it in layers. Afterwards, I glued white lace underneath. On the surface, I arranged flower decorations and attached crystals, which reflect the color of the large, pink flower and my favorite tulle. I also glue on a piece of torn, pink paper to maintain unity of color and design.

Sandie - Hello there, I'm here with some inspiration for Clash of colours! I really enjoyed this one and got to mix inks with digi's again and I hope you like the result. I used two fab digi's of Koi carp from Dollie Daydream Goes East CD from Polkadoodles (as the orient is full of colour) and I coloured them with Graph'it Marker pens as the vibrant colours from this brand was absolutely perfect for the job at hand. The background is made with distress inks onto satin silk card and detailing with a black micron pen..full details of how I made it are on my blog...happy crafting and I can't wait to see what you all make :)

Cara - I also chose to use the Dollie Daydream Goes East CD and Graph'it Markers  for this theme.  With the bright papers of the CD and the bold colours of the markers they are a perfect match!

Cheremane - Hi there wow where's the shades its a tad bright in here. I have used the fabulous Hairdresser  from Work & Play CD 2, this CD is so much fun, if only I had the guts to die my hair this colour. The papers and sentiments are all from Polkadoodles CD's.

Samantha K - I made my card using papers and elements from the Dollie Daydream goes East CD.  The image is called Dollie Daydream - Glitz and is available for download.  I used two papers to create the background and printed parts of the top paper twice so that I could cut out some of the lanterns and decoupage them to give a bit of depth. The image is coloured with Promarkers and wink of stella. I went for greens and pinks as they clash great ;) I also used some wink of stella on some of the lanterns and lights, just to add a bit of glitz (although sadly you can't see it in the photos).  The peacock feathers were cut with my silhouette and coloured with distress inks. The sentiment which is also from the CD, was coloured using distress inks and wink of Stella, this is also raised like some of the lanterns. xx

Fabulous creations!  Lots of inspiration to get you creative juices flowing.
Now it's you turn so come along and enter the new challenge!! Don't forget you can win that great Work & Play collection and you have until 8th August to enter!
Also, please remember that there are a MAX of 2 entries per person.

Have you seen our fabulous new Christmas collection yet? It's soooo cute it's inspiring us all to make an early start with our Crimbo cards - yes, typical we're in a mini heatwave and we're making Christmas cards LOL! Well, at least we're all organised!

You can see the winners of our last challenge at the bottom of this post, but first let's see what the team have made this week!....

Cara
I chose to use the fab new release Festive HollybobsI just love the designs sets on the CD and I used the reindeer one to create my super sparkly card.  I re-sized the images and elements in word and added a couple of extra backing papers before covering everything in stickles!

Karon - Add a little twinkle, well I decided to add a lot :-)  I used the pre-coloured image of the Christmas pudding and decided to enlarge it and make it into an easel card.  My twinkle, chocolate coloured gems as the currents.  All the elements are from the fabulous new Work & Play Festive Hollybobs collection.  I used one of the papers as the icing, and layered the holly to add a little depth.

Scatty Jan I used one of the scrummy little characters from the Work and Play Festive Hollybobs collection , the sentiment is also from there. Coloured with Graph'It markers . I added some glamour dust to her dress and cuffs and some fun flock to her ear muffs. Attached a little thin tinsel ribbon and made a little Christmas Hanger xx
Asha - I too couldn't stay away from the Work and Play Festive Hollybobs CD. I made a trifold card using papers, images and elements from this bumper CD. To finish my project, I added sheer white ribbon, lots of red bling and Stickles for extra twinkle. The rest of the trifold can be seen on my blog.
Cheremane - With a theme of add Twinkle I just couldn't resist using the new Work and Play Festive Hollybobs CD and how cute is Santa and with all the white fluffy trim its cries out for lots of Twinkle. The image and papers along with the sentiment and presents are all on the CD, I have also added some webbing, glossy accents and lots of stickles for extra twinkle. xx
Samantha K - I normally colour everything myself (and believe me I have been colouring busily some of these wonderful new Christmas images from the Festive Hollybobs work and Play CD) They are so much fun and so beautiful to colour. But you will have to wait to see these :p But for this decoration I used the gorgeous pre-coloured images, so you can see just how scrummy they are. I put the decoration template on my silhouette virtual mat and picked the images i wanted to use and put them in place. Everything was then cut out and stuck together and finally each side has some glitter on it, whether it be on the icing or spots on a scarf ;p You can see the other sides of the decoration on my blog...
Anjie - On my card the image and papers are from the new Work and Play Festive Hollybobs Collection. The image is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. The flowers are from my stash and the die cuts are from Tattered Lace. The rolled roses are made from the same papers as I've used on the card background.
Melanie - For this card I've used elements from the Work and Play Festive Hollybobs collection, using just a mini peg, cork mat and a couple of red gems from my stash to decorate. I glittered the Christmas tree with tacky glue and some iridescent glitter - I just love the effect of adding a little bit of twinkle to these traditional kraft colours and designs!

Anna My card is made in layers (using little foam squares) from green and red paper. I also used a boy, evergreen trees and a little deer fom Polkadoodles cd Work and Play Festive Hollybobs. I added tulle, which imitates snow, a ribbon, pompoms and hawthorn berries. The evergreens are decorated with glitter and powdered snow. I had lots of fun while making this card.

Ruth: I've kept it rather clean and simple this week and directly printed one of the cute characters from Festive Hollibobs directly onto my card blank. I've also used one of the pre-coloured digis and simply added some glitter glue, a snowflake charm and sparkly red embroidery thread.

Kevin My card is made using the fabulous New Work & Play Festive Hollybob Cd rom and of course my image is coloured with Graph'It Markers

Gorgeous!

The winner of our last challenge will be announced next week, so let's head to the team to see what they've made today! ....

Jenny here with my take on Add a Twinkle, this comes from the latest cd Work and Play Festive Hollybobs, even the name is fab!  Full details are on my blog.
Sue - This weeks challenge is  Add A Little Twinkle I have used a pre coloured image called snowball  from the new Polkadoodles cd Work and Play Festive Hollybobs.  I have matted on white card  and distressed the edges with ink.  The background papers are from the cd too.  And I have used the papers to make banner and bow then added some glitter and pearls.

Sandie - Add a little Twinkle gave me a chance to do something different and play a little.....I used the digi image from Festive Hollybobs Work and Play collection CD as my main focus and coloured it with my Graph'it Marker pens ..a totally different look on craft card!!!! I added twinkle in the form of gold flaked frame and then added lots of lovely embellies including the hearts and post card which are also on the Festive Hollybobs CD.  Take a look at my blog for full details and lots of picture of this one as its hard to see the fabulous look of the markers in the full shot.  Happy Christmas in July and keep crafting..Sandie x

Bev here with my take on this week's challenge. I've used the brilliant new 'Work & Play Hollibobs' CD there are so many cute little characters to choose from I opted for the penguin,  layered him up a little and added some glitter for the 'twinkle'. The papers, sentiment and snowflakes are all on the cd too. Making my Christmas cards is going to be so much fun this year.

Yvonne - Hi everyone! This weeks 'Add Twinkle' was far too exciting for me - when Nikky sent through the amazingly gorgeous new 'Work & Play Hollibobs Collection', there were squeals and clapping of hands and general drooliness from all the team!! For this weeks challenge, I decided to decorate a medium sized white (boring) paper bag. Using the FABULUSH new collection, I picked a backing paper, a pre coloured digi stamp and a pre coloured embellishment. Add a little bit of ribbon and some glitter......done! What else do you need, Nikky has done all the hard work for you and you can make simple yet stunning projects!!

Katie not long now till the nights start drawing in! So better get to thinking about Christmas. I have made this card with the Hollybobs Work & Play Collection. I cannot wait to see what great creations you come up with have fun and Keeeeeeeeeeep Crafting Katie DT xx

Ruth: I've used a fab image from the Work and Play Collection 2 and coloured him with Promarkers. The papers are also from the same cd and I've added some X Cut stars. The die cut letters I've had for an age in my stash and to make them a bit more interesting I've added a black dotted line around the edges and covered them with glossy accents.
Anjie - On my card the image, papers, embellishments and sentiment ticket are all from the Work & Play Collection CD 1. I have coloured the image with my Graph'It Markers. The rolled roses at the bottom right are made from the same papers. The rest of the embellies are from my stash. More info on my blog....
Yvonne - Hi there and Happy 4th July to our crafty friends across the pond! I love the theme for this challenge and had great fun making this 7x7 card. I chose to use the gorgeous image of  Lewis from the Pretty Tuff Cd Rom or you can get him as a digi download. I adore this image and printed him out as a digi and coloured him with my Graph'It Markers (details of markers used on my blog).  I used two papers from the digi bundle Ruth because they are just perfect for this theme.  I ran the blue spot paper through with an embossing board to add texture, I really love the effect it gives.  I cut Lewis out with a Tattered Lace die and used Blue Tint Pan Pastel to soften the white, but I left the outer frame white to give contrast. I added star gems to tie in with the theme.  I hope you like it!
Sue - Hi here is my card for the red white and blue challenge. I have used Casey from the pretty tuff cd rom.  I coloured him with copic pens . I used backing papers from  work and play cd 4. Sentiment i printed from Dollie goes East cd. Embellishments I had in my own stash. I mat and layered Casey onto red card. Layered papers on red card too. Added layers at a jaunty angle and added sentiment and embellishments....
- Sandiie  Hello all, I'm excited about this challenge and red, white and blue made me think of shopping!  So I used the main images from the Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD rom and used a mix of the pre-coloured image of Dollie shop with the non-coloured shop image.  The shop was coloured with my beloved Graph'it Marker Pen's (full colour details on my blog).  With some added flowers and icon images from the CD rom I think she looks like she's having a fabulous day out! Happy crafting!
Bev here with my take on the 'Red, White & Blue' Challenge. I used the postman digi from Work & Play 4  I coloured  him in with Graph'it Markers. The papers are also from the same Cd. I scaled down some of the digi letters/envelopes to create a border and made my own sentiment.
Katie here wishing all my American Friends a Happy Independence Day. I will be having an all American Cook out (if the weather is nice!). Well I thought I would have American Glamour but with a British Twist so here is my inspiration for this week. I used the image from Dollie Daydream. I cannot wait to see all your great creations, have a great day and Keeeeeep Crafting Katie DT xx
