So let's see what the team have made for you this week!
Liz - The weather has turned cooler so time to craft! Christmas is coming so I created a star shaped card, then decorated it with the fabulous Sparkling wreath and stars dies. I die cut it out of gold mirri card, even though the die is so fine and it cut so well first time through the mirri card.
On the kraft card base I added some stars with the Night stars stencil using some of the fabulous Sunbeam Shimmer stencil butter/. Once it was dry I built up the card using the wreath and the Sweet Poinsettia die which I cut from white mixed media cardstock, sprayed with festive berries oxide distress spray, then highlighted areas when dry with Lumberjack Plaid oxide distress ink. I adhered this in place on my card, simply adding some of the Winter Botanical Bits dies here and there around the Poinsettia, to create a classic looking Christmas card.
Maria - This week’s challenge theme is Food and Drink, and since I urgently needed a few birthday cards, it felt only natural to choose the best kind of food: birthday cake and muffins! The adorable treats come from the Big Birthday Surprise stamp set. I coloured them with alcohol markers and added highlights with a white gel pen to make everything pop.
Of course, I wanted to showcase the matching Birthday Fun paper as well, so I decided on a split triangle card design to really let those patterns shine. I stamped the sweet little bunting from the same stamp set onto the cardstock for extra detail. A sentiment from the set and a few Polka Dots 3D enamel dots embellishments as accents — and just like that, I ended up with two wonderfully cheerful cards guaranteed to make someone’s day. Crafty, colourful, and full of birthday joy! Products I used:

Julie - I kept this card simple and let the fun fall details do the work! I started with two strips of patterned paper from Freddy Fox Paper 3, matted them on coordinating cardstock, then printed the precoloured pie and leaves from Autumn Fall Halloween Treat Bundle, cut them out and layered them onto the card front. A little gold sparkle splatter, some gold twine and a few embellishments finished things off. The big “Thankful” sentiment is a FREEBIE from PolkaDoodles—so definitely grab it and give it a try! I typed up my own “for pie” and “(and you)” underneath because, really, being thankful is important…but so is pie!

Liz - I created this using one of the fabulous MDF trees from the Create and Decorate Christmas MDF Stacker Tree blanks kit.I painted the tree with a cream coloured acrylic paint and then when it was dry lightly sanded it back here and there to distress a little. I kept the NOEL in it's natural colour which is also part of the kit - it's huge, you get a ton of MDF so if you love having bits and pieces to decorate it's a must have buy (and an amazing price for what you get too!) I created a floral arrangement as a focal point along with a die which I cut down for the top using these dies which have been my go to's on my desk so far this year, they're all so useful I can't stop using them:
Nelly - Another Saturday, it comes around so quickly! This week I have for you a food and drink project, yummy yummy! I wanted to create a soft palette for this birthday card so I chose sage green and soft pink. I stencilled the background of the centre panel using the Stone/Brick stencil, again using the pink and green theme. Next I stamped, coloured and cut out the images from the Birthday Celebrations Stamps and placed them onto the 3 squares. I also used the glasses/drink stamps from the Ready To Stumble Male set of stamps which is just so great and usable for life! The backing paper is from the Not so Plain Kraft paper pack too. There you go another card for you all…..did someone say cake?
Thanks so much to the design team for their gorgeous inspiration this week - wow!
