Our random winner for this challenge will win
$10 of downloads from the store

Now lets take a look at the fabulous creations this week...

Ruth:  I've made a gift card wallet and used papers printed from Picknix 3:  Nordic Winter and added a bow made from contrasting papers.  No template used for the wallet - I just made it up as I went along!  The chunky button I found in my stash (attached with a fair amount of glossy accents) and the bow slides off so you can open the wallet.
Naz - The image I have used here on this project is called "OWL IN A PEAR TREE" and it is part of the "TWIGGY & TOOTS FESTIVE FUN" collection.
I used Lyra pencils and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to colour the image and then added some
Glitter Snow.
The sentiments are also from the Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun Collection.
Caz.- I have gone along with the Reds and Greens for my easel christmas card...And ive used the cute Happy Christmas Digi available as a single digi here...Also the Digi, Papers, sentiment. And  the Candy cane and holly leaves cutting file...Can be found in this fab collection..Available as a DOWNLOAD. Or if you prefer on a CD.
Julie -- I've spent the week decorating the nursing home where I work.  I've seen all the tinsel, baubles, and glitter I need to see for quite some time now, so you won't see too much of it on this project.  I used the Picknix 3 -- Nordic Winter Collection on this card.  It is available in digital download for instant gratification (yes!) or in CD.

Bev here with a little hybrid crafting. I too used Picknix 3, Nordic Winter to make my traditional Christmas card. Its fabulous for all your Christmas crafty projects and you can download it instantly here too so ideal for those of you (like me) who have left everything until the last minute.
Anjie  I've used papers and embellishments from the amazing Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection I've printed this onto 300gsm cream card and then used my scanNcut to cut all the embellishments out. The base card is an 8x8 cream card. I've decoupaged the Santa image to make it stand out even more. Please visit my blog for more info and more photos.

Claire C We're spoiled for choice this week as there are so many gorgeous Christmassy goodies in the Polkadoodles store!! I've used lots of goodies from the  Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection. to create this card. All the precoloured images and embellies are so handy for this busy time of year.

What fantastic makes from the team!

Before we share the DT's wonderful projects, we are very pleased to welcome another two new members to the Polka Doodles family
Caz  and Lorna

Now onto this weeks Inspiration here at Polkadoodles

Naz - For this project I have used AMELIA CONTEMPLATING from Polkadoodles.
I coloured her using Copics and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.
The sentiment I have used for this project is from Work and Play 10 - Country Life.
These sentiments are the ones I've been using a lot on my projects, I like the look of circle sentiments.

Lorna I have used Twiggy n Toots Festive Fun Collection available as a CD. or if you prefer as a Download. More details can be found on my blog

Caz ..For my project, I have  gone with Red and White...I have made a Owl Gift bag..Really enjoyed making this bag.  So easy to make..And defo intend making more...They are fab..The Owl Bag template can be found on Twiggy n Toots Festive Fun Collection available as a CD. or if you prefer as a Download. Sentiment and tag can also be found in this collection..Along with papers ive used..(except lashes).

Ruth:  I've been busy making baby cards - there is an abundance of expectant mums at work!  I've used a cute spotty pink paper from the Serenity paper bundle download, made some large letters and then added my own twist to the banner.

Jessie - For my one colour plus white I chose brown, and went with every shade of brown that exists in my Polychromos set, so I used white plus 10 different shades of brown to colour up Octavia Whistful. One piece of patterned paper from the Violin Theme Paper Collection frame the image perfectly for a super clean and simple card!

Julie -- I started with a Kraft base, then used white with shades of brown.  I just HAD to use these two beautiful deer.  They are so sweet, they speak to me.  It's deer hunting season right now here in NW WI, and while I know we have more deer in this state than people, I still don't like hunting season.  This card is my tribute to all the deer out there.  You can get the image individually here.  The whole Frosted Winter Octavia Collection Digital Download can be found here.  If you're more patient than me, and want the CD, that link is here. The shaped card design I used on this is also from Polkadoodles.  This is Elegant Card 2 SVG cutting file.  The sentiment is a freebie, found in the Polkadoodles store.

Bev here with my inspiration post. Anyone up to there eye's in 'stuff' at the moment with little time for crafting? So I made a quick card this week using the Winston collection & not a character in sight. There's just so much within the collection if you haven't tried it please do you won't be disappointed x

Claire C I've gone for a sepia tone for my little altered notebook and coloured up the beautiful  digi stamp 'Cinders'  (you can find her here). I've coloured the image with my Lyra pencils and used her to cover a little notebook, adding ribbon, lace bead trim and a little flower. I've inked around the edges with distress inks and added a little gilding wax to finish off

Anjie -  I have used 2 papers and lots of embellishments from the fabulous Picknix 3, Nordic Winter collection.. I have distressed the edges of the papers and added some drawn lines for added interest.

Now lets take a look at the fabulous creations this week...

Naz - The image I have used is from Polkadoodles Work and Play 10 - Country Life.
This collections is one of my favourite collections from Polkadoodles.
It features 10 fantastic themed characters. It also includes backing papers, sentiments, paper bow sheets, ...I coloured the image using Lyra Pencils and then added some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen. The sentiment I have used here is also from the same collection.

AnjieI have used one of the designs from the fabulous Colour Therapy Florabunda CD, you can also get this as a download HERE if you can't wait for a CD to arrive! This is one of the 6x6 designs and I have made a card blank to fit it using a Tattered Lace Essentials die. In the stripes around the image I've used a Sakura Tiara gold pen to add a bit of glitter, and some gems on the base. More pics and details on my blog.
Julie -- The 'S' is one of the new, fabulous adult coloring pages.  This is Adult Coloring Pages, Alphabet 1.  I colored it with Copic markers. The designer paper on the top layer of the frame is from the Rose Budd Craft Collection Download. It's available in CD, too.   I love Autumn colors, and these new coloring pages are going to be so. much. FUN!

Bev here with my creation I used my Lyra Rembrandt Pencils to colour in one of the Colour Therapy 1 sheets and combined it with the fox from Work & Play 10 - Country Life collection again coloured up with Lyra. The sentiment is from the same collection and was then embossed with a leaf design and inked with distress inks to match. I finished by adding a paper bow & a bit of bling.

Claire C I've used elements from the Autumn/Fall digi bundle (which you can find here, what  bargain!!) to create my little canvas. I've used my Lyra pencils to colour them
Penny here with two creations... I quickly ran home tonight to create a project after realising my first attempt wasn't fitting the theme.. I went Autumn and missed the Autumn colour rude.. Oops.   I used the Autumn bundle and created this CAS card initially
After realising my error I grabbed my image I was playing with for another project (stay tuned for later in the year for my plans for the image below.. I'm excited.)
I used my real brush markers and added lots of layers of colours to achieved a rustic wood feel, the digi lends itself to adding colours and just playing.  I will definitely be trying my hand at watercolour again, this image would be stunning in pencils too.   You can find the Lemonade Stand image in the Picknix Collection 1.   It comes in a pre-coloured version to that is devine with its pastel colourings.

What fantastic makes from the team!

Can't wait to see what you come up with, we love visiting your blogs to take a look  at your wonderful creations. ....Remember only 2 entries per person please.

Ruth:  I've used papers from the Twiggy and Toots cd to make a larger than life special 21st Birthday card.  Lots of bling and sparkle around the edges of the numbers.  Really quick and easy to make - the hardest bit was waiting for the glitter to dry!

Naz - The image I have used on my project is Serenity Stardust part of the Serenity Fairy Wishes Bundle which  is one of my all times favourite collections from Polkadoodles.
This Bundle included black and white as well as coloured digital stamps, beautiful papers and sentiments.
The sentiment I have used for this project is from Polkadoodles Work and Play 10 - Country Life.

Julie -- I used the adorable Work & Play 9 -- Love & Kisses Collection this week, creating an anniversary card for my husband.  I didn't want too much bling or glitter, so I used some glitter paper to back the image.

Anjie -  I have used the Serenity Fairy Wishes collection to make this card. You can buy the image Serenity Resting on her own HERE if you would just like that. The fabulous Toadstool border has been cut using my cameo and the cutting file can be found HERE, isn't it just perfect for this image!!!!! For the challenge I have added superfine glitter to her wings which you can see better in the close up image on my blog, along with the rest of the details.

Bev here with my inspiration for this sparkly challenge. I'm gradually getting my Christmas cards done and this week I used the fabulous Work & Play 5. and coloured the gorgeous little elf with my graph'its. More details on my blog.

Claire C Colouring this gorgeous fairy from the Serenity Collection and one of the gorgeous pages from Colour Therapy 1 Floribunda with my Lyra Polycolour pencils kept me amused for hours. I've added some sparkly beaded trim and given the fairy some sparkly wings with a little glamour dust

Penny here using the beautiful Hollybobs collection and the image Presents.  Im finally getting some cards ready for Christmas.  I dug into my stash of glitter card stock and layered up lots of different colours to add some bling.  I wanted to keep the image as the focus of the card so she would pop.  It was so nice to get copics onto card stock again.    Its hard to see in the photo but the berry's are glittered with glossy on top just for that added pop.

Now lets take a look at the fabulous creations this week...

Ruth:  I've made a tee-pee card for a work colleague who will shortly be going on maternity leave and its big enough for all the office to sign.  Papers are from the Twiggy and Toots CD and I've used a Sizzix die for the cute elephant and a Spellbinder frame.

Naz - The stamp I have used for this project is called " Serenity EarthStar" and it is part of Serenity Fairy Wishes Bundle.
This beautiful Collection is and Amazing Value and includes stunning Digital Stamps both coloured and black and white, papers as well as sentiments.
Anjie - The image, papers and embellies are all from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection which is available as a digital download or CD, or you can even buy all the elements separately. The image is coloured with my Grpah'It Markers as is the background. For my die cuts I have used the clock dies from Marianne. More details and photos on my blog.

Julie I used an image from the Serenity Fairy Wishes Digital Download Collection.  This is Serenity Earthstar, available individually here.   The sentiment ticket is from the same Serenity Fairy Wishes Collection.  Since I wanted a Fall Fairy, I used papers from the Witchie Witchie 2013 Craft Download Bundle.  Of course, I used dies on this.  There are 3 of them, used to showcase the image.

Bev here with the oh so cute Etty she's on the fab Winston Collection, I used one of the design sets with a few different backing papers, some ink, glitter, ribbon & lace. You may have to look hard as my die cut is one of my layers Can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

Claire C I've used lots of elements from the gorgeous Picknix Nordic Winter Collection (you can find it here) to create this acetate card. I don't use a lot of die cuts in my crafting but I've dusted off my cuttlebug and added some die cut icicles to the top of my card. To save time I've used pre-coloured elements from the collection, isn't the snowman adorable?

Penny here, this week was all about me putting colour to paper and using an image I wouldn't normally use.  I grabbed my kits and found this lovely Cupcake from Picknik 1, combined with some patterned papers from Work and Play 3, and Work and Play 4.   Clean and simple and the image was made to pop!  My dies are in the matting, circle and banners.

Now lets take a look at the fabulous creations from our Design Team.

Ruth:  I LOVE using Paper Boutique Vol 3 because it makes card making so easy and I produce stunning results!  This has to be my favourite card shape - really easy to make, print all the elements out A5 size, cut out, layer up with foam pads and add glitter where required!

Naz - This is my card for Favourite Card Shape Challenge. The image I have used here is from Twiggy and Toots Festive Fun Collection.  I made an easel card and used lots of die cuts and pearls for embellishment.  The sentiment I have used is also from Polkadoodles.

Anjie - The image, papers, embellies and sentiment are all from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection, you can buy the image, Frosty Penguins, on it's own HERE. I have coloured the image with Lyra Rembrant pencils. More details on my blog.
Bev here with an easel card for you. I've incorporated quite a few things this week. Including Oddella Twig and papers from Octavia, the cute little ticket sentiment is from Sugarplum Daisy. I've left the stopper plain at the moment to personalise at a later date. More details on my blog.

Penny here with my favourite shaped card.  I originally was leaning to a circular card when it struck me that my real favourite card is actually a tag.   I ended up printing out lots of elements and then combined my two favourite shapes into one.  The yellow spotty background is from Work and Play 1 and then the wonderful Twiggy image is from the Twiggy Festive digital download.  I do love how you can mix and match kits, especially if you are like me and you can't make up your mind on what your theme is :).

Jessie - My favorite card shape is one I resort to 99% of the time and it is a standard square 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" card.  For this card I got ambitious and layered pumpkins together from the Autumn/fall Digi Stamps and coloured them up with my copic markers. All of my papers come from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1 and the Paper Heaven 2

Claire C I'm a lazy bones as I hate making fancy shaped cards so I buy shaped card blanks, I love this shape, its my all time favourite!! I've used my Graph'It markers to colour this gorgeous Robin digistamp from Picknix 3 Nordic Winter Collection. To create the background I scribbled my Graph'Its on my Mix'It Palette, sprized with a little Mix'it Fluid and applied with a paintbrush to create a kind of watercolour effect. You have to work pretty quickly with this technique but I love it. For a little frosty sparkle I used a Silver Graph'It Shake pen and a waterbrush too. (You can find all the Graph'It goodies here)

Julie  -- Persistence pays off!  I’ve been wanting on this team for a long time now.  I finally wore Nikky and the talented Polkadoodle ladies down, and here I am!  I’ve been doing the happy dance for days now.  I’m so pleased to be here.
I love shaped cards in any variety, but one of my favorites these days can be found in the Polkadoodles store here.  The card shape is the Elegant Card Shape 2 cutting file.  The "scary" witch is Amelia Witch Toad.  I colored her with Copic markers, then inked the edges with distress ink.  The papers are from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1- Digital Download Bundle.  The sentiment tag is from the Witchie Witchie 2013 Craft Download Bundle.

Our winner (chosen by Random Org) for our Shabby Chic challenge is....
15- Hanne
