Ruth: I've made a quick card using one of the images from the CD, coloured with Promarkers and then used an X Cut die as a template. The digi images are stunning and are wonderful to colour! And who wouldn't want such vibrant red hair!!

Zoe - I'm loving this new Dollie Daydream goes East, oriental collection. The papers and images are gorgeous so it was so easy to make this project. Firstly don't forget to watch Create and Craft on Tuesday 21st Jan at 1pm to see Nikky on the Graph'It show but you might also be able to catch a snippet of our latest collection too ; )....
http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/

This week as ever our challenge for all of you is

Anything Goes

but if you can join in we have challenged the DT to go
Girl Talk! Yes we are loving the girly theme so we're still in the zone this week!

The winner of this challenge will win Downloads to the value of £10 - woohooo!!!
Make sure you get your entries in by Sun 26th at noon!
Remember you do NOT have to use our products
(although obviously we would love it if you did)

Ruth:  I've gone very clean and simple this week - I've used the coloured digis from Dollie Daydream Girl Talk, printed them directly onto my cardstock and also added one of the sentiments.  The half pearls are from my stash.  Great quick and easy cards for when you're in a hurry!
Zoe - So we were asked to bring out our girlie side this week, and for me, that means shoes! I chose this gorgeous digi from the stunning new Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD to make this calendar hanging. I printed out the images a number of times as I wanted to decoupage various sections and coloured each top part with a mix of markers. Simple matting and layering along with a calendar block and ribbon finished it all off.

Anjie - For my project this week I thought  it doesn't get more girly than fabulous shoes does it!
The image, papers and sentiment are from the fabulous new Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD Collection. I have coloured the image with Graph 'It Markers. The flowers on the shoes are highlighted with Glitter Shake - Graph'It Markers. I've matted the papers onto black card to make the papers pop out more. I've made some rolled roses from the same papers and added a bow, some hat pins and die cut banners.
Shell-Well what can I say about this new collection except that it super girlie, it's filled with shoes, bags and make up too...I picked my fave shoe digi and I left it plain and simple to show the shoes off. The image was coloured with copics and promarkers, and the papers were off the cd too

Scatty Jan One of my favourite themes Girly  and I love this new collection Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD Collection. For my project I used the lovely Parfum bottle and made a shaped card. I decoupaged the bow and the heart and added some gems xx

Lizzie - Well don't all girls have to have their lippy ???? lol !! So I thought I would use one of the embellishments to make a card and bag with. Of course I used the new FABULOUS CD Dolly Daydream !! I took the lipstick image from the elements section into my graphics program 4 times. Lined them up and flipped two images so that the back has lipsticks too !! Cut it out, folded and then cut out another of the two front lipsticks so I could decoupage up. I printed and cut out a girlie, added her to the card along with a sentiment !

I then made a gift bag to match using a white bag and cutting it down !!
So loving this CD !!
Katie New Year New you, and what better way to begin with having a play with the Dollie Daydream Girl Talk CD ROM.  This is such a fab new CD I have really enjoyed playing with my girly side. I love mixed media and thought that I would do something a little different. I have fashioned my paper fan with wooden coffee stir sticks and the flowers are from the Build a Fleur flower section on the CD.  The digi stamp was coloured and cut out to put onto the fan, which can be hung on the wall or popped on an easel to display it. I love the CD and cannot wait to make more! Have fun and Keeeeeeeep Crafting xx

Lou: I have also used one of the girl images for my large tag. I was inspired by the sentiments on the Dolly Day Dream CD and this is what sparked me to make my tag. A bit of doodling and some handmade backgrounds using the papers and mediums, and my tag was finished.

Rebekah - Gosh I just love girlie themes and the new Dolly daydream CD is perfect for all your girlie needs! Here I have made a card using papers and image from the new CD along with rolled rose flowers and sentiment also from the fab CD!!!

Susan This is my first  make for Polkadoodles DT and what a fabulous new CD to start with Dollie Daydream a real girly CD. I have used the papers to cover my project and make the flowers , toppers to embellish the inside and digis coloured with Graph'it Markers for the outside . there's lots more pictures on my blog

Claire C What could be more girly than shopping and who could resist popping in to this gorgeous little shop?? The new Girl Talk collection is crammed full of the most adorable images

I'm sure you'll agree this week's creations are STUNNING!!

Anything Goes

so we hope you all play along with us.
The winner of this challenge will receive £10 of downloads from the Polkadoodles store! Woohoo!

You can see last time's winners at the end of this post : )
......................................................

So let's see what the team have made this week! ....

Ruth:  I've gone all the way back to May 2013 to show you this, made with papers from the Fredericka cd that I've cut out and inked and the sentiment is from Cherryblossom Lane and I've also inked that too.

Lizzie - Gosh its so hard to choose a favourite as I LOVE all things Polka Doodles!!! Way back in April I made this card and gift box. I just loved them so much ! For the card I used the Stampies from the CD All Around and Everywhere. To make them large enough to make a card with I enlarged the view on them and used the printing option of current view. For the box I used the CD All around and Everywhere for the images. The paper I used from the CD Picknix 1. I just love how the words look like clouds!

Zoe - Choosing my fav was easy, I chose my santa wreath where I decided to set myself a task of using the digi images from the amazing Home For Christmas CD  to create a wreath. I chose the fabulous Poinsettia and the super santa. I took both into Serif Craft Artist and digitally manipulated the images - flipping to face the opposite way & changing sizes - positioning them around a rough circular shape. Once happy I printed it off and coloured every single image with a mix of markers including some Graph It markers. I chose more contemporary colours to match my home decor and once coloured I attached a ribbon."

Shell-Wow what a tough decision that was. I picked my super hero wall hanger as my fave make of 2013, I love it and Jake loved it too. I used papers from the Not for Girls CD

Anjie Choosing my fave make from 2013 was a very hard job for me as I love all PD products! I eventually decided to go with these tags from October. I used the A Home for Christmas CD Collection  I cut out 3 tags in Kraft card and then printed some papers, embellishments and sentiments from the CD. I cut out three strips of papers for each tag and distressed the edges using distress ink. I glued the papers onto the tags and added some faux stitching with a white opaque pen. I then cut out all the embellishments and stuck them in place. I then used a distress ink on the sentiments and added them. I finished off the tags with some ribbon.
Claire C  It was hard to choose a favourite project as Nikky has released some amazing cds this year, anyway eventually I decided on this card made for our birthday girl challenge in August. The image is from Candy Doodles, I just love this CD! The image is coloured with Graph'It Markers
Rebekah - I actually had 2 favourite makes from 2013 but as one of them was the birthday card I made as the last make of the year...
it was only shown recently so I have chose the bunting I made with the Home for Christmas CD as well..
I used pre coloured images for my "NOEL" bunting and added hanging baubles, also pre coloured from the CD, from the bottom for added effect.

Finally, our Random Winner from Week 50 is
No 7 Kendra

Christmas Birthday card using the fantastic Picknix CD collections
and they've done a great job!
Of course, as always for you at home our challenge is
Anything Goes
so we hope you all play along with us.
The winner of this challenge will receive a copy of the fantastic Picknix 1 Collection which is just fabulous and worth £17.99.

You can see last time's winners at the end of this post : )

......................................................
So let's see what the team have made this week! ....

Claire C I've used some of the gorgeous papers from the Gingerbread Twist Cd and one of the lovely images from the Fredericka mini CD collection, I've coloured her with Graph'It Markers
Karon - It was my daughter's birthday at the end of November and I had to make a card off her Sister.  The images and paper are from the Studio 12 Picknix 2 CD, Gingerbread Twist.  The main sentiment I made up and typed in Word. The little ticket sentiment is from the Cherryblossom Lane CD.

Zoe - As I have a friend with a birthday on Christmas day this challenge was perfect for me! I used the gorgeous images from Studio 12 - Picknix Garden collection and I created this topper in Serif Craft Artist where I used digital brushes to add snow over the images. Once printed off I added some sparkle to enhance the winter feel of it, and some ribbon too. Simple matting and layering finished it all off.
Sally - Christmas Birthday Card - I used my favourite image from the Home for Christmas CD Rom and coloured her with my Graph'it markers. Adhered her to some background papers from my crafty stash if polkadoodle papers. Coloured a sentiment so it matched the colour scheme and there it is.
Asha - I made a birthday card with a Christmas flair. The papers are from PickNix 2 CD Gingerbread Twist and the image is from the "Angelberry" CD. I don't think this card needs too many embellishments. Some ribbon, a few bling and Crystal Stickles on the angel's wings and I'm done. This will do nicely for my friend whose birthday falls on Dec 27th.
Alethea - I made this card in super quick time using papers, sentiment and images from the Picknix Collection 1 cd Rom. I then added the ribbon and added the kindyglitz to the cupcake to finish it off!! Oh and I did a bit of sewing :)
Miria I made a Christmas birthday card for a male or maybe for a teacher. Paper and sentiments are from cd Studio 12 Picknix 2,the blackboard is from cd  Studio 12 - Picknix Garden collection . I just distressed the edges and added some die cut snowflakes.
Rebekah - It's my daughter's birthday tomorrow (when did I become a mother of a teenager?!) so I made this card, perfect for her, in pretty pinks and creams. The papers I have used are all from Picknix cd rom 1 from the All sewn up collection. My image is one of the cute Emma Canning digis at Polkadoodles and the cute leather effect ta is also from the Picknix CD, check out my blog for more details.
So there is the inspiration from the team this week - gorgeous Christmas Birthday cards all round!
WOW!

Now onto the theme for this week which is:

Make a gift for Christmas

Although we set this challenge for the team, this week we've decided that

you can enter ANYTHING GOES as a theme for Christmas.

Have a look at the fab samples from the Design Team.  Closing date for the challenge is Sunday 15th December at 12noon GMT and don't forget to link your actual blog post so we can come and visit you!

Claire C I've made a pretty flower pin using printable canvas and one of the beautiful papers from Here Comes Christmas Cd, I loved the paper so much I printed some more off and used it to decorate a little gift box and a card. The image is also from the same cd, isn't she adorable? I've coloured her up with Graph'It Markers. I'll be back tomorrow with a quick tutorial on  how to make the flower pin

Zoe - I've made a small gift card set using the gorgeous Home For Christmas collection. Many of my friends have younger children so this makes a perfect gift for them as they always send 'Auntie Zoe' a thank you card! I took papers and embellishments from the collection into Serif Craft Artist to design the note cards and to print paper to cover the box. I love recycling packaging & this box was perfect! I tied ribbon around the gift and finished it off by adding tickets from the cd tied on with twine.

Karon - I decided to make a gift for chocolates, so made this lovely 4-drawer easel card.  My papers and elements are from the A Home for Christmas CD collection.  The red polka dot paper is from Sundae of Seasons.  I inked up all the edges of all the layers, added some pop dots to add a little depth. And there you have a great "sweet" gift.

Sally - Our challenge this week is to make a gift.  So I thought it would be nice to make a box with Thank you cards in it.  I already had a template for this card box, I used two pieces of A4 cardstock for the box, drew around the template and cut it out and put the box together.  I then chose some backing papers and an image from The Angelberry CD Rom.  I matted and layered the Rudolf paper on red cardstock and covered the front, back and sides.  I then made 6 cards, same design but with different backing papers. I then used my peel off "thank you's" and matted and layered the Rudolf image.  There it is! What a nice gift to give someone!
Miria This is my take on the challenge: a quick and easy festive bookmark. I used paper and digis from A home for Christmas , the tickets are my fave from Picknix Collection 2 Gingerbread twist. I distressed them all and just added a ribbon. On picture two you can see how it works on the page.

Alethea- I am making fudge for the teachers presents this year and was too sure what to present it in, so I quickly made up this little bag!!! I used a border from the Angelberry CD Rom,  and a sentiment and pre-coloured image from the A Home for Christmas CD collection. I then just added the eyelets and ribbon!! Simple but perfect for what I wanted!!

Rebekah - Hi everyone! I chose to make a recipe book as my gift for Christmas. I have used papers and elements from the Here comes Christmas CD, this includes the cute gingerbread digi, the frame for my title and the tag on the side. Sometimes you just need a book to keep all those festive recipes in for this time of year!

Asha - I made this cute little purse with paper and a Santa digi element from the A Home For Christmas CD. Super simple to make and just the perfect size to house 3 succulent Mon Chéri chocolates - my kinda Christmas gift! Pop by my blog for measurements... chocolates not included!

Closing date for the challenge is Sunday 15th December at 12noon GMT and don't forget to link your actual blog post so we can come and visit you!
