Happy Friday everyone! Our new challenge is
Things With Wings
The winner of this challenge will receive a $10 gift voucher to the Polkadoodles download store.
Now let's see the inspiration for the challenge...
Katrina: I've 'built' some flowers and a butterfly using the gorgeous stamps in the Lavender Tea Stamp Soup Collection and coloured everything in with Brushos. The sentiment is printed from the Lemonade Fizz CD.
Lou: I have used papers, stamps and embellishments from the wonderful "The All This ... For This kit" to create my card. Butterfly background created with the stamps, made in to panels and then layered on
to one of the backing papers. Sentiment and watch embellishment also from the same kit.

Now let's see the inspiration for the challenge...
Claire C I've had lots of stamping fun creating this card using some of the fab new Stamp Soup stamps! I just love toadstools and I couldn't resist making a fairy too. The staircase and backing papers are from the CD collection 'Magic Garden', the stamps are mostly from the Magic Garden stamp set with a couple from Little Kingdom. These new goodies sold like hot cakes on C&C but you can preorder yours here and here! Be warned though, these stamps are totally addictive
Ruth: I've used the very sweet Lily Love Bug collection (available in either cd format or download) to make my card - I've used one of the pre coloured images, fussy cut it and then added two of the frames plus a sentiment. Really quick and easy to make especially when you're on the last minute!
Bev here. This week I combined the challenge subject with a birthday card for my hubby. Using Winnie Fruit Punch. He does like to go over my cards with a fine tooth comb to see if he can guess how I made it. CD crafting doesn't have to be flat and one dimensional you know and when combined with layers, inks, ribbon & embossing you can make something really, quite special.
Anita - . This week I have chosen to use Lemonade Fizz Stamp Soup Collection and tried my hand at a little reverse stamping to make the wings , all coloured with alcohol markers and got busy with my scissors.
Anjie - I've used images from the fab new Magic Garden CD. I've used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to colour them and the background in. I've printed the pots and toadstools a few times and decoupaged them up. The dragonflies are also cut separate and shaped and raised to give them a 3D effect. I've used a fine liner to draw the lines around the edge, layered it onto black card and used some raffia to finish it off.
Lou: I have used papers, stamps and embellishments from the wonderful "The All This ... For This kit" to create my card. Butterfly background created with the stamps, made in to panels and then layered on
to one of the backing papers. Sentiment and watch embellishment also from the same kit.
Lovely creations to inspire you all with our Things With Wings challenge!
