Cozy Christmas new release:

As always, lot's going on here, so let's see the inspiration from the team for this special week!

Rachael - Hi everyone! Today is World Cardmaking Day so I'm here with some inspiration for a card I love..I made this with ONLY stencils - the Winter foliage Layering Stencils, and I really love this colour combination.  I inked the layers and then when I added the holly berries I wenst over the top with a black and a white fineliner pen to add the berry tips and the highlights - I love how the berries pop off the card.  What I love most is that by changing colours with inks this stencil is an all year rounder and I've used it so many times on my backgrounds right through this year! I hope you have an amazing World Cardmaking Day and create something fabulous!

Julie - If you’re celebrating World Card Making Day, Bella Bear from Polkadoodles is the perfect little helper to get you started. She’s cute, cozy, and holding her coffee—because let’s face it, none of us are rocket scientists, we’re just crafters who know the true power of caffeine! This card shows just how easy it can be to make something beautiful without overcomplicating things. A sweet image, a splash of color, and a sentiment that makes you smile—that’s all you need. Bella keeps it simple, so you can spend more time sipping while you create. Find all the details on my blog. Blog Instagram Facebook

Rosanna - Hello everyone and a warm hug! Are you thinking about Christmas? I am, and I love it. I chose a stamp that I bought some time ago, a stamp that is so delicate and sweet, it's Winnie Heartfelt Wishes. I coloured the sweet little girl with Copic markers and used a cloud-shaped die that many of us will have in our drawers to shape the top, leaving a glimpse of the blue paper with lots of falling snow (made with a stencil). I attached the Christmas tree die cut and glued it to the left with thick double-sided tape, finishing with liquid glitter along the branches.
Finally, I added snow paste at the bottom, while stars and a moon made from a sheet of silver glitter paper were placed in the sky. The paper shines brightly, but you can't see it in the photo.
I hope you like it.

Taty - I'm sharing a card I made with the clear stamp Summer Day, colored with Prismacolor pencils. I love this line of stamps featuring girls, be sure to check them out! I embellished the bottom right corner with a pink and white paw print using the die from the Beary Cute Critter Great Outdoors set. This card is a surprise for my daughter, she's getting an Australian Shepherd puppy on the way.

So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!

Enrica - Hi everyone! For my Halloween project this week I made a fun lollipop card. I made a paper rosette, fussy cut the precoloured Witch Broomstick Halloween Gnome printable clipart and layered all the pieces; words are from the Halloween Trick or Treat printable Word Art. I added a few black dots, a spiderweb from my stash and a black lace. Easy and fast to make, hope you like it!

Jenn B - Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday - I make Halloween cards all year long! For this one, I used papers from the Halloween Trick or Treat Paper Pack. The sentiment is from the Spooky Sentiments set. I printed out Cute Little Witch Boo Halloween, coloured her with Copics and fussy cut her. I die cut the sentiment and a coordinating piece of the DP and attached Boo with foam dimensional tape. I added some die cut bats, a spider, and a spider web.

Revati - Hello crafty friends! When someone recently asked me if I could create a clean and simple card for Halloween, I couldn’t resist taking up the challenge! I decided to go with a fun and festive design using the Spider Web Halloween Gnome Digital Stamp. Since the image was pre-coloured, I printed it out and added a touch of extra depth with my Prisma color pencils, giving it just the right amount of shading and dimension. For the sentiment, I paired it with the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Word Art, which worked perfectly for the theme. To tie it all together, I scattered a few tiny “BOO” words from the same digital stamp around my cheerful gnome, creating a playful touch. The background came together with the Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Papers, which added just the right balance without overpowering the focal point. And of course, no card is complete without a little sparkle—so I sprinkled on some sequins to finish off this cute and simple Halloween card! For more details, visit my Blog!

Sana - Welcome to a new week of Blog Challenge. This time it was my favourite theme Halloween. So this time I thought I would make a candy box for Halloween, the corners are open so you can insert a long candy and gift it to someone. The pumpkin digi is from one of my fav digi trick or treat words, soo many to choose from. The size is around 5x4 – it’s really up to you what size you want to make though. The paper background is also from Halloween Trick or Treat Digi Papers. Have fun with this week’s challenge!

Judy - Halloween is coming, so my inspiration project for this week is a spooky Halloween card. I used the Cordelia Witch Halloween Digital Stamp, coloured with Prismacolor pencils and then carefully fussy cut for extra dimension. For the background, I added some stencilling on black glitter cardstock using the Starry Nights Stencil with white ink. The spooky looking tree was cut with a die from my stash, and I finished it off with some gems to decorate the branches. The sentiment is from the Boo Halloween Sentiment Bundle – such a fab set for quick and easy Halloween card makes!

So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!

We are welcoming Rosanna to the team this week - we know you will love her creativity and gorgeous projects - welcome Rosanna!

Rosanna - Hello everyone, I'm Rosanna and I'm a new member of this wonderful DT that I admire so much. You are all so talented and I wanted to share my first project with this group of talented artists. I used the Matilda Witch Halloween digital stamp. I coloured the background with black Distress Oxide and a cloud-shaped stencil. The little witch is coloured with Copic alcohol markers. Then, I added grass in the background, silver threads, cobwebs, bats, stars and... anything else your imagination suggests to create a monstrous and sweet card, just like the face of this little witch who goes out with her bag, as all elegant witches do 😊

Rachael - Hi everyone! I'm back this week with another card using the new Pretty Flower dies - I just can't get enough of them they're so lovely. This one is called Pretty Blossoms - snap these up they are so versatile, I'll be using this as Christmas flowers this year too!

Julie- Birthday was our Design Team theme, and I decided to stray away from the traditional cute little animals and go with some hard core reality using an image from The Old Bags collection. This “Embarrassing Moment” pairs up perfectly with sentiments from the collection. The background features a “rip & tear” technique with pattern papers from Painting & Decorating Bundle combined with a little gold splatter, an embossing folder and a pretty bow. This is what 50 looks like - it really is… Happy Crafting! My Blog, Instagram, Facebook

Taty - Hi everyone, today I'm sharing my new DT inspiration. I created a greeting card featuring the Baked You A Cake stamp, colored with Prismacolor pencils. Here are the pencil numbers: dress 1009-1008-934, hair 944-937-1031, bows 1038, cake 989-289. For the background, I used white cardstock, embossed it with a flower-themed folder, and then applied gold paste to the raised flowers. On the left side of the card, I added a pink border, and in the bottom corner, I embellished it with sprigs and small flowers, keeping the same colors as the dress. I wish you lots of creativity.

Terri- Hello lovely crafters, Terri here with a spooky, Halloween themed Birthday card! This card would be perfect for any fans of cutesy Halloween vibes, or who has a birthday close to Halloween.

I made the cauldron shaped card by using a 6.5 ish inch circular die and a 7 inch top folding card blank. I adhered the die to the card blank so it was hanging over the edge and had about 1-1.5 inches of the top of the card that wouldn’t be cut. I marked out carefully where the 3 cauldron legs and the bottom of the cauldron would be (by lightly tracing the circle die and sketching the legs until I was happy with them) in pencil, then placed that end outside of the cutting sandwich so it wouldn’t get cut.

When my shaped card was cut, I carefully trimmed around the drawing of the legs and the bottom of the cauldron, on the front of the card, traced through that onto the back of the card and then trimmed that.

I created 3 more cauldron shapes using the circle die and tracing around the bottom portion, using thick white card - 2 for the top, adhered together (which would stand up as it is an easel card) and one for the inside, which I colourised to look like the inside of the cauldron, using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides and Lightning Black Brilliance Dew Drop ink around the edges.

I also freehand sketched an opening for the top of the cauldron. Once I was happy with it I traced over it carefully with an archival ink pen. I then drew around the outside of this and later glued one behind the other with the cauldron front sandwiched in between. I decorated the front of the cauldron using Tsukineko Brilliance Metallic Dew drop ink pads in Lightning Black, Cosmic Copper, galaxy gold and platinum planet. I used some finger dauber sponges to make rounded swipes of colour to create the illusion of a rounded cauldron and blending brushes for the rest of the ink blending. I also used very tiny brushes for the inks on the cauldron lids. Later I used the sentiment as a stopper to hold the front of the easel card in place. I used a small sentiment die and stamped, then heat embossed the sentiment on one of the die cuts and cut about 4-5 more to adhere underneath to give it the required height. I also colourised the edges with leftover inks from the finger daubers.

The star of the show is the Pumpkin Witch Gnome digital stamp. I created a scene with some Halloween Polkadoodles stamp sets from my stash (which are all on sale), so it looked like the Gnome Witch was hosting a Halloween party. The sentiment is from Monster Messages, the pumpkins are from Pick of the Patch, the Cat is from Boneshakin Halloween, the Cute Ghost and mug are from the Fang-tastic stamp set, the small eyeball is from Freaky Little Monsters and the large eyeball, spider and monster are from Funky Little Monsters.

I coloured the images using Copics and used the following blends/parts of the blend for the majority of the images. Dress: BV04, BV02, BV00; Pumpkins & hair (+YR21): E09, YR18, YR14, YR12; Cloak: G99, G94, G82, YG03; Potion: G99, YG45, YG07, YG03, YG01.

This card was soo much fun to make! And to think that just a few years ago I wasn’t a fan of Halloween! I hope you enjoy this make as much as I enjoyed creating it. Happy Crafting and see you soon with more crafty inspiration! Terri xx
