So let's see what the Design Team have been making...

Ana - Hi crafty friends! I’m back with another project, and this time I’m sharing a fun gatefold card featuring the adorable Bunny with Carrots from Polkadoodles’ new release. This card was inspired by a Holy Week crafting session I joined, and I loved the design so much that I recreated it using a brighter, spring-themed Polkadoodles twist! I created a simple gatefold base and added patterned papers to the front panels. The highlight of this design is the interactive closure in the middle, made using folded squares and a belly band to keep the card closed. I then finished it off with the cute bunny image and sentiment for a fun, playful touch.
If you’d like to recreate this card, I have full step-by-step instructions over on my blog!

Liz - I love the look of waxes used to create highlights on MDF and Chipboard pieces, so for this MDF Album cover I used some black gesso to add a base layer and covered with acrylic paints. After adhering the chipboard, I dabbed more of the acrylic colours here and there with a stencil brush, this creates added texture too, then I highlighted along the edges here and there with some Gold coloured wax. The leaf at the bottom of the album cover was created using two die cut leaves out of 300gsm cardstock, glued together, then placed on the base before colouring. The Chipboard Dragonfly is two seperate pieces of the same design I adhered together along the body so the wings could be slightly lifted. The flower in the centre chipboard frame has a die cut flower which I cut out of a thin tin can, glued in place and I added a Polkadot in the centre, then coloured over the top and highlighted with wax. Products used:

Maria - Hello everyone! I’m back on the blog today to share a cheerful, spring-inspired card featuring some wonderful Polkadoodles goodies. This project is all about soft colors and a whimsical garden feel. To create this scene, I started by building my little garden using the Pretty Flower Pots dies. I paired these with the adorable botanical elements from the Grow On You stamp set. For the coloring, I reached for my Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer watercolour pencils (Nos. 109, 111, 124, 121, 219, 125, 225, 217, 190, 191, 177, 180, 187, 271, 140, 163, 171, 112, 168, 264), which allowed me to achieve that soft, painterly look that blends so beautifully. For the background, I wanted to keep things airy and light, so I used a cloud stencil to create a soft, dreamy sky. This provides the perfect backdrop for the vibrant flower pots and butterflies.
The finishing touches really make the card pop! I added the Hello Lovely sentiment from the Sentiment Strip Pack, which fits perfectly at the top. Finally, I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add tiny highlights to the pots and leaves, giving them that extra bit of dimension and shine.I hope this card brings a smile to your face and inspires you to get crafty with your Polkadoodles stamps and dies! Happy crafting!

Mary - I’m getting excited about spring! I wanted to incorporate that into a sweet card that would reflect my happy mood! I used Papers, florals, and sentiment from the Digi Deals for Pretty Flower Wreath. This little bundle has everything you need to make a lovely spring card for everyone on your mailing list. I used my usual 5.5” x 4.25” card base with floral and blue paper. I made a 3” square with some butterfly paper and cut that on the diagonal and attached it to the upper left and bottom right corners. I made 2” square with a gingham pink, green and white and placed it on a diagonal so it looked like a diamond and placed it in the centre of the page. I cut out a 2.75” circle with the floral wreath and sentiment wrapped around the wreath. I inked the edges of the circle and the card base with some distress oxide (Saltwater Taffy). I fussy cut some flowers and greenery from the same paper I used as the base to add some fun, dimension, and interest to the card.

Taty - Hello creatives, today I'm sharing my DT inspiration, sticking with the green and pink flower theme. With the holiday approaching, I created an Easter greeting card using digital papers from the collection Winnie Sugar Sprinkles. This is a wonderful collection with pastel pink and green colors, very elegant. I printed the collection on 200g cardstock and for the first layer I used the butterfly pattern. On top, to create thickness, I glued the oval frame with the roses. To add movement and depth, I applied the glossy accents to the flowers. I carefully cut out the pink and Tiffany-colored flowers included in the set to apply them around the phrase. The phrase is part of the collection Spring Flower Mathers Day Friends. I wish you a Happy Easter.

Julie - Today's Design Team project is a 5x5 square card with a pop up design in the center that is visible when the card is open or closed. The card features the printable image from Pretty Flower Wreath cut from a circle die and a circular background of the plaid paper featured in the same pack. I colored the image with a simple blend of Copic Markers. The card base is covered with a 2nd paper from the bundle, and then a 4 1/4 inch circle is cut out of the base. Using a piece of cardstock cut at 3x4 and scored at 1, 2, 3 on the long side and attached it to the inside of the card just under the score line. It's like adding a foldable box. Flatten the box mechanism. Cut a piece of cardstock at 3/4 of an inch by 2 1/4 and score at 1 inch. Fold it at the score line and add glue to the longest side of the flap. Close the card and attach the flap section to the section of the box that is visible through the circle, add glue to the remaining section of the flap (strip), pop the cut out circle with the featured image into the circle and press to adhere. Close the card and press to adhere. Open the card and the circle pops through the circle window. I added a 1 inch strip of the plaid paper across the bottom of the inside of the card, and additional butterfly that was sized larger before printing. The card front also has 3 additional butterflies that are added with foam tape to create a little added interest. I also added glitter to the butterflies. Additional details to create this card can be found on my blog.

Ana - Hi crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card using the adorable new release from Poladoodles - Bunny Surprise Easter Basket. I love how quick and easy this card design is, it’s perfect for when you need a last-minute card or if you’re creating multiples for a craft fair! For this card, I kept things minimal and added a bit of texture to the background using a crimped panel. I then layered my pre-colored digi front and center, added the sentiment just below it, and finished it off with a touch of sparkle using a gem sticker. Simple, sweet, and so fun to make! If you’d like to see the full step-by-step tutorial, I’ve shared all the details over on my blog: https://mycatandcrafts.blogspot.com/2026/04/polkadoodles-new-release-bunny-surprise.html
