So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!
Rachael - Hi there! This week it's all about Back to School or graduation as all the results have been out in the UK this week. I used this super cute digi stamp from the new You did It download bundle - I love her! She would also make a great Bookworm, teacher or just a general digi too, it doesn't just have to be school themed. See you next time!
Julie - For my back to school project, I chose to create a Hidden Bookmark/Paperclip featuring this
Rebel Bookworm Girl full of Attitude. After printing & coloring the image I cut her from the rocks she was sitting on and used foam tape to place her on this stack of books from
Winnie Fruit Punch Bundle. I created the background (front and back) with printable paper from
Rebel Papers, and added the perfect sentiment to approach the school year with “
Attitude is Everything”. If you pop on over to my
blog I’ll show you how to create this Hidden Paperclip project!

Taty - Hello creatives, today I'm sharing my DT inspiration, a mini album to store all the souvenir photos from the school year. I decorated the cover with the
Student/School Precolored image by
Polkadoodles. The background was created with a folder to create a brick wall effect. I added a Happy New Year quote at the top, and some books at the bottom as embellishments.

Terri- Hello crafters! It’s
Terri here with a cute, muted tone project to share. The theme for the DT this week is Back to School, but not a card. I have a neighbour who has just finished her first year at “big school” and it got me thinking about back when I was a tween and transitioning from primary school to high school those first few years. Going from being the eldest to feeling tiny amongst all of the older kids (even though I looked about 14 when I was 11 lol). So I thought I would create a project about that time in a child’s life and bring out all of the positive aspects and how the sky is the limit when you are young and learning about what you enjoy studying and where your strengths lie. This sweet little make is easy to create with just a few products and would make a lovely gift for a tween, to counteract that sadness that the holidays are over and could be hung from something in their bedroom with the ribbon.
I coloured Winnie in the Hot Air Balloon using Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils in muted tones. For her skin I used my standard pale Caucasian blend of eggshell, goldenrod, Deco Peach and blush pink, white for highlights and burnt ochre for the shadows. I wanted Winnie to have blonde hair but the colours used in the basket were “blonde” colours so I decided to colour her hair an “Ash blonde”, using Sandbar brown, beige sienna, putty beige, beige peach, sand, eggshell and a tiny bit of cream. For her dress, I chose blue and a lighter blue for the big bow on the front: true blue, cerulean, denim & Indigo, then powder blue, blue slate & periwinkle for the bow.
I hope my make inspires you in some way and I will bring you some more inspiration very soon. Crafty hugs,
Terri xx
