So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!

Terri- Hello lovely crafters! It’s Terri here, delighted to bring you some more crafty inspiration in the form of the cute card featuring these super cute Pandas doing what I love best and munching on donuts (lol) and melon, along with a punny sentiment and some corresponding bamboo and donuts digital patterned paper. I also used the scallop rectangles and tags die set from Polkadoodles.I coloured the scene with Copics and wanted the coats of the pandas to look different from each other. Therefore I used neutral greys on one and warm greys on the other. I wanted the pandas to look fluffy (as they are!) so I used the flicking technique to colourise them, by using a light pressure and making small flicks all over their coats. I couldn’t resist adding eyelashes to the pretty girl Panda too! •Their cheeks, inner ears and toe beans were all coloured with R12 and R20. I used many different YGs and several Gs for the grass, with a base of chartreuse (YG13) before adding more details such as a slightly deeper green for the cast shadows of the pandas (YG06) and lots more greens for the grass blades.
•For the sky I kept it very light and used BG0000, BG000, B000 and B00.
•I cut the scene out using the inner rectangle from the die set, then adhered this to the scalloped base in pink. I used a 7x7 inch card initially, and trimmed this down a tad. I trimmed the green bamboo printed paper to around 6 inches square and adhered that to a piece of black card, which I eyeballed (I have a good eye!) to leave a slim border, which I then stuck to the card base in the top left corner, leaving a slim border of the white card stock. At this point I trimmed the card base down so that the other two sides had the same border width.
Next I cut a 2 inch wide strip of light blue card and adhered a 1 1/2 inch wide strip of the donut paper on top. I then adhered this 6x2 inch strip decorative element onto the left side of the card, an inch or so from the edge. I next positioned the panda scene at a jaunty angle, with the long sentiment cut in two parts, positioned above and below. Once I was happy with the positioning, I
stuck them down using tweezers, starting with the scene, using glue on top of the some foam pads I had added to the backs of the 3 elements (a handy tip to keep them put!).
I think this card turned out really cute and it’s always fun to colour fuzzy little critters! Don’t ever be put off by colouring white elements in a card either, especially with animals as when you look at reference photos you can see that the white is more of an off white with bits of true white here and there. I used WG0, E000 and E40 on both Pandas’ white bits and even added some coloured pencil and white gel pen detailing to make the cuties look extra fluffy. I hope you enjoyed this cute card and I look forward to bringing you lots more inspiration soon! Terri
