Challenge theme: ANYTHING GOES
Enter this Craft Card making Challenge competition following the instructions at the end of this post and you could win a prize - we make it random so everyone has a chance to win whether you're a beginner or not!Enter anything you wish if it's handmade by you.
This challenge is now 4 weekly - giving you 4 weeks to enter with $80 in prizes per month.
You can enter up to 4 times, with 4 different projects. We will still post weekly inspiration from the team but the competition will remain open for 4 weeks.
PRIZE 1: $50 voucher x 1
• 1 x Random Prize (we will randomly select 1 winner, so everyone has a chance to win) : $50 voucher to spend in the Polkadoodles store, on anything you wish including physical products.
PRIZE 2: $10 voucher x 3
• 3 x $10 prizes : we will select our Top 3 favourite Top 3 entries from across the 4 weeks.
• The winners will be announced on the 4th week of each challenge.
So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week - we've been creating lots of gorgeous Spring projects to inspire you in March...
Julie - This adorable wide eyed sheep brings fun to this interactive card as she actually jumps over the fence into this pretty little meadow. The images from Polkadoodles Sheepy Sheep collection were colored and perfectly paired with a sentiment from Spring Into Easter messages. Merja - This time I wanted to do some stenciling. I started with white cardboard and added flowers with Wildflower Meadow stencil and paste I coloured with Distress Inks. I let it dry and then I added a few more layers of flowers with Distress Inks positioning the stencil differently each time. When I was happy with the flowers I coloured the background also with inks. Then I stamped the sentiment on tracing paper with Sentimentals stamp set and heat embossed it. I tore the tracing paper and taped it on the card. Lastly I added some Glossy Accents drops here and there.
Adam - Being a huge Taylor Swift fan, I immediately thought of using the Polkadoodles Crafts new Just My Type dies to create a card inspired by "The Tortured Poet's Department" as performed during the Eras tour. This typewriter die is very reminiscent of the one from the props during the concert. This card and the die should resonate with all the Swifties of the world.
Nunzia: When I think about Spring, the first animal that comes in my mind is the rabbit, so cute and furry. For this reason I made this interactive card, with these 3 little bunnies closing the card that when opened magically shows a sweet message. Papers and message are included in the same bundle.
Carrianne - Hi friends! Today, I’m excited to share a fun pop-up window interactive card featuring the adorable Cute Chick with Flower Stick digital image, along with a sweet sentiment from the Darling Buds Sentiments set. I used Copic Markers to color the image, and the sentiment was printed and die-cut using a stitched circle die. For the background, I added a beautiful cover plate to a white panel, which I adhered to a blue A2 card base. I then used a larger stitched circle die to cut out the center of the panel, and added a note card slightly smaller than the base to the inside.
To create the interactive pop-up element, I cut a strip of white cardstock to 1 x 4.25 inches, scoring it at 1/2", 1", and 1 1/2" to form an accordion fold. I adhered it in the center of the panel with liquid adhesive, then placed the circle die-cut piece on top to create the pop-up effect. I hope you'll give it a try because it was so much fun to make!

Wendy - Hi everyone! I know it's already March, but I've been having so much fun playing with the Theo Penguin Winter Snow Days bundle that I had to make 1 more winter card. Look how happy Theo is with his Iceman creation. Doesn't he look so proud? I paired them with one of the backgrounds that you get with this bundle. Those are my favorite, and It's been so much fun building scenes with them. Thank you for looking!
Taty - Hi friends, I'm sharing my DT inspiration for the March spring animal theme challenge. I created an interactive card, with a sliding mechanism, where by pulling the right insert the left part also comes out. I decorated the external part with the magnificent Flowers Lily Ladybug image colored with Prismacolor pencils, for the background I used the wonderful Heart Wreath stencil and a gold colored paste. For the right insert I used the new and fabulous All You need is Love die which frames the Sleeping Lily Ladybug Ladybird image, always colored with pencils.
