So let's get to today's inspiration...today the team were asked to create something for Winter Sports - let's see what they made for us...
Kim Simpson - This week, I made a winter sports themed wobbler card, starring Agnes Elephant! This is my all-time favorite image, and I really love how sweet she is! I colored the Agnes Elephant Ice Skating digital stamp with Copics and paired her with digital papers from the Little Monsters Collection. I added a bit of shimmer under the ice skates to give the appearance that she is skating on ice and added some clear glass bubbles for dimension.
Merja - On my card I used Winnie Winterland Skating Around image, coloured it with alcohol markers and then cut it with Posydoodles Circles die. I wanted to play with red and blue so I used the background papers from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Papers 3 set and added some red cardboard also. The text is from Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna.
Nunzia: how fun is skiing? This pair of Snowman and Bear shows it to us. I printed them directly onto the first patterned layer and coloured the scene with alcohol markers. Then I added it to the base decorated with the combination of two patterned papers and a red twine. All the papers are from Papers-2-winnie-white-christmas-digi, the sentiment is from Winnie daisy greetings quotes and finally poinsettias are printed, coloured and fussed cut from Winnie Winterland digis.
Pam - For my Winter Sports, I've selected "Ice Fishing" from the Octavia Frosted Winter Collection. While Octavia makes a great card alone, I wanted to create more of a scene, so I added the Polkadoodles Igloo in the background and then colored a pink to purple sky. I've grabbed the sentiment from the Love Always set to complete this winter sports card.
Rachael - I'm not really a winter sports kinda person, but I can see how much fun these two cute penguins are having skating and sledging. They are from a stamp set called Latte Christmas tweetings paired with the tree from Curly Christmas and a sentiment from Merry & Bright christmas greetings. I decided to make a different shape of card so it really stands out on someone's mantle this Christmas!
