Polkadoodles and Studio 12 Week 44 Challenge - Anything Goes Christmas

I hope you're liking the new feature on this blog - Digi Choosday each Tuesday!  There have been some fab projects by the Design Team!

We have tweaked our challenge rules and we are now picking a RANDOM WINNER each week to get one of our great prizes! We're doing this as a massive thanks to you all for entering each week and we think it's much fairer that everyone gets an equal chance to win some lovely goodies, so from now on, if you enter then you're in the draw! We will still choose our favourite top 3 as well and they will receive a little prize too. IN ADDITION, you can now enter as many challenges as you wish and are no longer restricted to 10!

Christmas - Anything Goes!

Although we set this challenge for the team, this week we've decided that you can enter ANYTHING GOES as a theme for Christmas, as we realise you might not all be making boxes this week.


Ruth:  I've printed one of the box templates from A Home For Christmas and then four of the cute girl images so I could decoupage them onto the front of the box.  I've added some velvet red ribbon from my stash and my box is complete!

Shell-Wow I couldn't believe how easy this box was to make. I printed one of the papers from A Home For Christmas cd onto a piece of cardstock and cut out the box shape on my cameo, I added one of the brilliant toppers and a sentiment off the same disc. I added a little ribbon, a few pearls and inked all the edges with some ink.

JAN - This has to be one of my favourite boxes and is so simple to make. I used the 'A Home for Christmas CD' to print off my chosen paper, then returned it to the printer to print the 'Milk Box Carton' template on the reverse. (The template can be found on the 'Paper Boutique - Volume 1 CD'). I added lots of embellishments, also printed from the CD to finish off - just add your gift! Check out my tutorial on how to make this box HERE.

Anjie I printed out one of the papers from the A Home for Christmas CD Collection. onto card and cut the box out on my Cameo. I used a cream linen card to give it more of an aged look. I used a distress ink around the edges and corners. I also printed out all the embellishments onto the same cream linen card which I also cut out on my Cameo, of course you could cut them out by hand if you wish. I then made a tag out of the same card and added a sentiment and layered up one of the Poinsettias from the CD.

Lizzie - I made this for my neighbour. I bought the box (Actually it had something in it already but I just wanted the box !!) I wanted a clear one so I could decorate it with papers, sentiment and embellishments from A Home For Christmas CD. I layered two papers on top of one another around the sides, cut out lots of hearts and holly from the CD and of course that cute Gingerbread girl !!

 

Bev I used the fab A Home For Christmas cd rom and my own template to make this cute cd gift box. Everything is off of the cd except the ribbon and glitter. It cost pennies to produce.....
