So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week - we've been creating lots of gorgeous projects to inspire you for Mother's Day which is coming up in March...

Merja - I did something different this time - no colouring at all, OMG! 😊 I decided to try my ScanNCut to create this cute memory box. First I printed 2 beautiful yellowish red papers from Spring into Easter papers set 1 & set 2. Because I wanted the inside part of the box to also have some beautiful patterns I also printed a green paper from set 1 to the other side of the red papers. I also printed blue paper from Spring into Easter papers set 3 (same print for both sides of the printing paper) to cut the index cards from. The printing paper needs to be quite thick so that the box is sturdy enough - the paper I used was 250gsm and it's quite good (but could also be thicker). Then I did some magic with the Recipe Box Svg Print & Cut Template svg files and cut the box parts from the papers I just printed. I did some folding and gluing and assembled the box. Lastly I added some pre-coloured images to embellish the box a little - I used Tropical Sorbet Craft Set (alphabets), Lily Bug Ladybird Frames, Teacup Lily Ladybug pre-coloured, Lovebird Letter pre-coloured, Bob the Dog in a Boat craft bundle, Surprise Gift Winnie pre-coloured and Bella Bear Morning Coffee craft bundle. So the box is now done, just need to add the memories inside. But that's a case for another day 😊

Carrianne - Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a beautiful floral card featuring the Perfect Peony digital image. Our theme this week was Mother’s Day, and since my mom absolutely loves peonies, this card will definitely bring a smile to her face! I paired the image with the lovely Mother’s Day digital sentiments to complete the design. I printed the Perfect Peony image twice — once on cardstock and once on regular copy paper to create a mask. After placing the mask on top of the image, I splattered some black ink over it to add a touch of texture and contrast. I added color to the image using my Prismacolor pencils to bring out the beautiful details of the peony, blending the colors for a soft, rich finish. Then, I adhered the colored image to a white A2 card base to complete the card.
Prismacolor pencils:
Pink: PC929-PC994
Green: PC913-PC909
Taty - Hello creative friends! My DT inspiration for the new Mother's Day themed challenge was created with the gorgeous pre-colored Lovely Bouquet Colour digital image and beautiful phrases from the Winnie Celebrations 1 Sentiments bundle. I created an esplosion box to give some chocolates to my mom. The beauty of Polkadoodles digital images is being able to print them in the desired size, as you can see with the small image I decorated the lid and with the large one I decorated the inside of the box

Nunzia: in Italy Mother's day is in May, and this is a good opportunity to make an early gift 😀. I decided to prepare a wallet decorated with Dahlia-flower-2 papers and fussy cut flowers printed in different sizes. The sentiment is taken from Mother's day messages bundle.

Julie - This project was a little complex to show in a photo. For this reason I included a collage photo ( dropbox ) to capture the complexity of the notebook and how the Lavender Tea printables are showcased. Our design team challenge was Mother’s Day… not a card. Hmmm?! What could every mother use, handcrafted from paper using gorgeous digital images that would be heartfelt, beautiful and practical? Why a notebook of course!! Using the lovely Lavender Tea -This collection has so many papers, quotes, frames & tags (not to mention some really cool templates) that make it perfect for creating a Notebook.. and it’s easier than you think! Find all of the details for this project on my blog.

More gorgeous inspiration for you this week to use, big thanks to the team! We hope you'll share what you make with your Polkadoodles products on our Social Media!

So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week - we've been creating lots of gorgeous projects for you...

Enrica - Hi everyone! Spring is almost around the corner and it’s time to think about taking care of the garden. For my card I used the amazing digital image and patterned papers from the Cute Gnome feeding bird and mouse value bundle colored with Ohuhu markers. I love this gnome, he is simply delightful taking care of his little friends as he prepares to plant seeds in his garden! Happy crafting! xx

Adam - I Made a generic card using the Polkadoodles Crafts "Every Wish Stamp" and "Pretty & Pink Papers". This clean and simple card was basic stamping of the flower image and coloring it with alcohol markers. I added a few embellishments and layered it on a dark purple then onto the card base of Pretty & Pink floral paper.

I printed her out on white cardstock, colored her with alcohol markers and then fussy-cut the top part of her while keeping the bottom piece square to create dimension.  I used foam dimensional tape to attach the image to the card.  I used Paper Patterns 4 - Winnie Daisy Fairy printable paper for the background, and "Have a toad-ally awesome day" sentiment from the Spring Tons of Love greetings/sentiments/quotes set.  I added some pink ribbon to finish it off. Jenn x

Judy: My inspiration card this week is Spring themed. I used Butterfly Flowerpots as the focal which was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. My background is comprised of white card stock on which the sentiment from Spring Flower Mothers Day Friends Greetings Sentiments Printable was printed. The bottom of the card is a patterned paper from Winnie Daisy Fairy Printable Paper Patterns 4. I added 3 gems to complete my card design.

Revati - Hello crafty friends, spring is here! I can hear the little birds chirping and the beautiful flowers blooming and so is the season of love. I used this cute and adorable little chick using the Eggcited Chick Spring into Easter Digi Stamp. I colored it using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and paired it with a beautiful sentiment "Love Grows Here" from the Spring Tons of Love Greetings and Sentiments which I thought matched our little spring scene.

Renske - Hello Everyone! For this card, I’ve used the Hello Spring digital stamp, which captures the essence of spring with its playful design featuring adorable ducks and butterflies. I printed the image, coloured it with alcohol markers, and added a glossy finish to the letters using Paper Glaze for a fun touch. The background was created using simple stencilling techniques with Distress Inks, layering grasses and clouds for a fresh spring feel. Once the image was cut and arranged on foam tape, I attached it to a clean, simple card base for a cheerful, dimensional look. I hope this inspires you to create your own spring-themed cards for the challenge! Happy crafting! My Instagram: @renske.wishes.you  Facebook: Renske.wishes.you

So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week - we've been creating lots of gorgeous projects for you...

Julie - This super cute wedding/anniversary card radiates a charming vintage vibe! Featuring the adorable Wedding Car digi coloured with Copic markers, and cut out using a playful postage die. The background is a mix of two Love & Kisses Papers in a haphazard layout, adding to the whimsical appeal. A sentiment from the Love & Kisses Sentiment Tags adds a hint of romance, while the distressed edges and ivory-colored card base create a warm, nostalgic feel. Check out the full details on my blog.InstagramFacebook

Merja - I used this adorable Love is in the Air Elephant image. I used a text editor program to print one "normal" and one reversed image. I also modified the sentiment from Love Always sentiments set before printing it. I coloured the image and sentiment banner with alcohol markers and white paint pen. Then I made the card base - I stamped the edges with a stamp from Love Hearts stamp set and fussy cut it. I die cut a couple hearts with Squarey Swirly Hearts die and coloured them also with alcohol markers. Lastly I taped the images, sentiment and hearts on card base with a foam tape. I really love the contrast in this card!

Nunzia: love is in the air and we need for a card to match our gifts. So I coloured this super cute couple of birds in love with alchool markers and created a background with distress oxide inks. Than, I added some hearts punched from a sheet included in Wings of love papers bundle. The sentiment is one of Love Always sentiment bundle.

Carrianne - Hello friends! This week’s theme was to create a project for engagement, wedding, or love, so I decided to make a wedding card. It’s for a dear friend’s son who is getting married, and it’s such a special occasion that definitely calls for a card to celebrate! For my card, I chose the Wedding Car Digital, and it was just perfect for the occasion! I decided to color it with Prismacolor pencils to give it a soft, subtle look that really complements the elegant theme. The sentiment is from the Love Birds Greetings Valentine digital set, which had so many wonderful options, but I opted for the simple and timeless "Always"to keep it meaningful and understated. For more creative inspiration, be sure to follow me on Instagram @crafticarri

Taty - Hi friends, I'm sharing my inspiration for the new February challenge with an engagement/wedding theme. I chose the Wedding Car digital stamp because it has beautiful graphics.I created a card measuring 4x4 inch, the layering is done with embossed white cardboard and a heart obtained with sage-colored corrugated cardboard on which I glued the image of the bride and groom.
I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and I leave you the numbers:
Face 1061. 1054, 1056 – Bride's hair 1093, 1080, 943 – Groom's hair 945, 946 – Bride's veil 1068, 938 – Car details 1050, 1063, 1054 – Bows and crown colored with green watercolor brilliant.

So, let's see the inspiration from the team for this week - we've been creating lots of gorgeous projects for you...

Judy: Hello there! My card for this week's post was created with Radiant Roses Clear Stamps & Radiant Roses Outline Dies. I stamped the roses and leaves and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers before die cutting. A paper weaved panel was added to the white background. I used 4 different card stocks cut into 1/4 inch strips weaved diagonally. The die cut roses and leaves were adhered to the background. My sentiment was stamped with the Splendored Love Stamp Set from the Timeless Rose Collection.

Renske

Enrica - Hi crafty friends! For my Valentine’s card this week I used the super cute Love Bird Balloons Valentine - Wings of Love digital stamp, colored with Ohuhu alcohol markers. To meet the requirements of using paper weaving I cut a shaped heart from heavy cardstock and used leftover stripes from several collections of patterned papers. The pink paper for the background is from the Bella Bear Morning Coffee bundle and the sentiment is from the Love Birds Greetings Valentine set. Wishing you all a lovely Valentines xx

Jenn here - I used Cutiepie digi stamp - Lil Miss Sugarpops
I colored her with alcohol markers and used a little heart die-cut to replace the flower she's holding. I tend to hoard all of my scraps, so I had a plethora of strips of paper from which to choose for my paper weaving. I used pieces of previously distressed cardstock with different colored inks blended all over them. I like the "quilt" look of the mismatched papers! I fussy-cut her out and attached her to a die-cut circle with foam dimensional tape then added some gemstone stickers and a sentiment sticker.

Revati - Hello crafty friends, I created a very adorable Valentine's project using the cute little bunnies from the Your Love Lifts Me Up Balloon - Love Always Digital Stamp. For my background, I decided to create a heart shaped window with a paper weaving pattern using beautiful strips of patterned paper from the Spring Tons of Love Paper Patterns 2, which is also what I used for my card front. I added a beautiful sentiment from the Spring Tons of Love Greetings, which matched perfectly with the theme of our card today.
