It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------

So let's get to today's inspiration... Christmas crafting season is well and truly under way now, so this week the team were asked to create something for Christmas for the guys - let's see what they made for us!

Judy: This week DT was asked to created a Christmas card appropriate for a man . I chose a simple design using the Winter Flurries Stamp Set. The tree from the set was stamped 3 times with black ink and fussy cut. I created snow banks by hand cutting white card stock, layering and glueing to the bottom of the card. The sentiment which is from the
Christmas Joy Digiscrap Download Bundle was printed on the very bottom piece. I used a pattern paper from the Happy Christmas 6 x6 Paper Pack.

SarahSometimes the smallest stamps can make a big impact!! I love this little snowman from the Gnome Christmas Joy Stamp set. It was so much fun to give them all different coloured scarves.
EnricaHello everyone! For my project this week I made a round card in the tones of brown and green using poinsettias, leaves and branches from the Winnie Winterland digital craft papers download and paper from the Winnie Winterland - Paper Heaven 2 digital craft papers download.  I completed the decoration with a stencil and soft paste and traced the edge of the bird with a glitter gel pen. Crafty hugs! xx
Donna ParrottHi guys, Santa has given his reindeer the night off this year and has sprinkled some magic flying dust onto his motorbike! I’ve combinedSleightime and Gnome on the Road digi stamps for the focal image and the Wonderful Christmas  stamp set for the holly. The background was created using the  Winter Wishes stencil and the sentiment came from the Night Sky stamp set.
NataliaI have prepared a Christmas tag for today's inspiration. I made it brown and blue colours. I made the background of wavy cardboard, chipboard, and frames with a winter gnome from the stamp set Gnom Let it Snow. It's a great addition to Christmas gifts or your home.
SabinaFor today's challenge I did a mixed media project in wintery colours using paper from Distress ink papers plain kit and Special Wishes Letters digi stamp which is coloured with alcohol markers. I added a sentiment from Spring Gnome fun puns, quotes and sentiments.

Wk 43 Card making & craft challenge - Anything Goes at Polkadoodles

It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------

So let's get to today's inspiration... Christmas crafting season is well and truly under way now, so this week the team were asked to create something for Christmas with a pocket included - let's see what they made for us!

NunziaIt's time to get ready for Christmas and this Snowman - Gnome Festive is perfect for a cute festive card. I created a pocket decorated with a sheet from Pretty Winnie Daisy papers  and a tag with a wreath from Tags & Frames bundle. The sentiment is picked from Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments  while holly in the corners are included in Winnie Winterland bundle

Pam: For my Snowman card with a pocket, I've started with the 'Cute Snowmen/ Dog' from the Winnie White Christmas Collection. I decided I wanted the little dog on this image to on my pocket. So I pulled that part of the image away and printed separately. After coloring the image I decided to add a few more elements. I've used the Holly Berrry Lantern and the little Christmas tree from the Gnome For Christmas clear stamps. All of the papers and sentiment came from Polkadoodles Winter Wonderland Craft Paper.

Merja - I think I haven't done a pocket card before so this was fun 😊 I created the pocket card base and coated it with a patterned paper from Ho Ho Ho paper pack. I added a heart made with Heart Flourish Die and poinsettia made with Poinsettia Lace Die. Inside the pocket you can find a  cute Happy Snowman Couple image coloured with alcohol markers. The sentiment is from Gnome Worth Melting For stamp set.

Rachael  - Who doesn't love a snowman? This gorgeous stamp is from the winter kingdom release.  I made this card using some backing paper from my stash - but you could do an inky background or a stencil instead.  I cut a snowflake die in half and tucked it behind my stamped panel, and finished with a doodle line around the edge making it look like it is part of the sentiment.
Kim Simpson - For this week’s project, the Design Team was tasked with creating a card that includes a snowman and a pocket.  I have never made a pocket card, so this was a fun challenge for me.  I couldn’t resist the darling Snowman – Elvis Wesley Moose Digital Stamp and I colored it with Copic Markers.  I paired the image with some of the digital papers from the Elvis Wesley Moose Collection.  This was a relatively simple card to make, but it sure was fun, and I absolutely love it!

Gaby - For this Christmas card I used Happy Snowmen Couple Too Cute digital stamp,
Winnie daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments. For my base card I used Printable papers 3-Winnie white Christmas.
Ariadna - I used this great Elvis Wesley digital stamp and created my own background papers. I coloured the stamp and then outlined it with a fineliner pen to create this sketchy hand drawn look. Hope you like it!

Wk 42 Card making & craft challenge - Anything Goes at Polkadoodles

It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------

So let's get to today's inspiration... Christmas crafting season is well and truly under way now, so this week the team were asked to create something Christmassy using a closure of some kind - let's see what they made for us!

Sarah - I created this card keeping the gorgeous backing papers from the Sweet Gingerbread paper pack as the main focus point. I then teamed it up by stamping and die cutting my opwn topper from the Gnome Christmas Joy Stamps and Dies and an off angled closure to the card.

Judy: My DT project for this week is a joy fold style Christmas card. I used Light the Way - Winnie Heavenly Angel Stamp for my focal. She is colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
The patterned papers used are from  Winter Wonderland 6x6 Craft Paper Pack.
The sentiment piece is die cut and holds the right flap of the card closed.

ENRICA -
Hello everyone! For my Christmas card this week I used two super cute images:
I put a small magnet under the circle to close the card. Happy crafting xx
DONNA PARROTTHi guys, for this weeks card I’ve used one of the gnomes from the matchables collection Gnome Tis the Season Matchables 4 x 6" Stamp set and the trees from the Jingle Bells stamp set Jingle Bells Christmas stamps I also used this Winter Wishes Craft Stencil to add some interest to the backing paper. To create the closure, I used the Fancy snowflake - Christmas Craft cutting die.
SABINAFor this week’s challenge, I made a card in Christmas colours, using this adorable precoloured Evie with Poinsettia and Elvis Wesley Moose themed sentiments.
NATALIA Hi All crafters :), For today's inspiration, I have prepared a Christmas card in the shape of a door. I decorated it with a wreath made of spruce twigs - Holly & Spruce die. After opening, I created a scene with our super new stamps with Santa popping out of the chimney among the Christmas trees - I used MerrySanta Christmas Holiday stamp.

SARAH
That cute little snowman from the Gnome Christmas Joy Stamp set holds this cute wrap-over card together - such a fun one for last-minute makes and using up those Christmas Gingerbread Papers!!

Gorgeous inspirational projects again to help inspire you this week! Huge thanks to the team!

Wk 41 Card making & craft challenge - Anything Goes at Polkadoodles

Happy Saturday, crafters!

It's time for a brand new card making & crafting challenge!...

THE WINNERS OF OUR LAST CHALLENGE ARE AT THE END OF THIS POST
----------------------

So let's get to today's inspiration... Christmas crafting season is well and truly under way now, so this week the team were asked to create something Christmassy using a Snowman - let's see what they made for us!

Nunzia: for my card I decided to color this pretty Barista with coffee and cake with pencils. Than I printed several branches of Blooms 4 flower-bundle and coloured them with autumn shades. Finally I added two sentiments taken from Coffee Tea and cake greetings and from Winnie daisy greetings quotes bundles, directly printed on two Pretty Winnie daisy papers strips. The paper background comes from the same bundle.

PamThis week it’s all about Friendship here on the Design Team.  I selected two of the Honeypie little girls and have merged them into one card. On the left is 'Sweet Heart Balloon' and on the right is 'Love Heart'.  I’ve added pre-colored flowers from the Magic Garden Soup package and made a sweet easel card using papers from Splashing Around Craft Papers.

Merja - On my card I used an adorable Gnometastic Bluebells image and coloured it with alcohol markers. I cut it with Posydoodles Ovals die and text with Posydoodles Circles die. The background paper is from Soft and Scrumptious paper pack and I added some green Distress Ink to the edges. I did the same with image and text die cuts and also the frames I cut for them. Lastly I added a bow and a few acrylic diamonds.

Ana: I wanted to make a card for my best friend in an autumn style. I used a digital stamp Missed You - Winnie and I colored it with alcohol markers. I made the background of the card using Graduated Stripe Craft Stencil and three colors of Distress inks.

RachaelThere's no friends like snow friends, and these adorable little critters are found in a stamp set called snowball kisses.  I made this scene card with some ink blending, copic colouring and some fussy cutting to create this lovely wintery card.

Kim SimpsonThis week’s theme is Friendship, so I decided to create a tag using multiple elements from the beautiful Magic Garden Soup Digital Collection.  I am not super experienced with mixed media, so I just tried to go with what I thought looked good.  I started with one of the tags from the collection and I inked up all the edges using Antique Linen Distress Ink.  I had printed and cut out a variety of different elements and I inked them up and arranged them until I was pleased.  Once I was finished, I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added some ribbons. This was a relatively easy, but beautiful project to put together, and it sure was fun!

GabyToday I made a friendship card using Blooms 6 - Poppy Flower Bundle digital stamps and a beautiful sentiment. You can find it as Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments.

What an amazing array of inspirational projects again to help inspire you this week! Huge thanks to the team!
