WK 13 Card and Craft making Challenge

Nelly: I created this new baby card using elements from baby-boom-digital-craft-download-bundle the card shape i made using layered star dies.

Merja - In this card I used the adorable bunny from Hoppy Birthday stamp set. I coloured the image with alcohol markers and then added a background with Timeless Rose Sweethearts stencil and Distress Ink. Then I cut a frame from Springin' Around paper pack with Posydoodles Circles dies and added some "lace" around it using Flower Flourish die. I added plastic sheet and foam tape, some confetti and taped it to the base. Then I did the handle and taped it to the back of the shaker part. Then just some pink organza bow and cute sentiment.

 Jane - I chose the Wedding Car digi and created a shaped card by printing to one side of a piece of card and then cutting round the image on the sides and top. I left the bottom of the card flat for stability. This was the easiest of cards to make as all I needed to do was colour the image using Copic pens and then add a little dimension by popping the bows up on foam pads. And you have to have a bit of bling on your wedding day, so I decorated her hair and tiara with gems.

Melissa - I chose the Lil Miss Sugarpops Cloud digital for my shaped card. I decided to make a simple Oval shaped card and create a sky and cloud background to compliment the digi. The image has been coloured with Copic Markers and I have used foam tape so the image sits on top of the background to give the effect she is floating on her cloud.

Ruth:  I've gone with a cute cloud paper from Winnie Celebrations 1 and the irresistible Having a Giraffe clear stamp which I've coloured with Promarkers.  Half pearls, liquid pears and ribbon and bakers twine all from my stash and I've handwritten the tag using a Posydoodles Basics die

Pam: For today’s challenge of New Beginnings in a Shape Card, I have put together a Latte Cup top fold card showcasing New Job (from the Winnie Celebrations 2 collection) dressed for success! Her note paper and sentiment matting is from Polkadoodles Tatty Twinkle Free Easter Paper Set and the sentiment is available in the Winnie Sunshine Delight Sentiment Bundle.

Nunzia: A newborn is a real new adventure for a family. The New Baby-Winnie Celebration 1 is perfect for celebrating it. The sentiment “Every Child begins the world again” is a free digi. Finally, I printed the patterned paper included in Winnie Sunshine Delights 6"x 6" Paper Pack 1 and glued the panel onto it.

Gloria: To create this card first, I open the Gil Rabbit Carrot Picking digi stamp file, resize them and printed the rabbit with my printer on a white card stock. Then, I colored the image with Copic markers and color pencils. After that I drew some dots with white gel pen. The sentiment is 'Thinking of You' download and is FREE. I printed the designer paper from Winnie Sunshine Delights 6"x6" paper pack. I die cut them with heart die and adhere with double sided tape.

Annie:  For this week's challenge I have created this floral themed card using the Bluebell Darling Buds digital stamp, Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 2 and the sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations Sentiment 2. I hope you like it!

Judy: I have used The Darling Buds Crocus for my Spring Flowers inspired DT project. I colored with ColourBlend Pencils. The white background is dry embossed. I stamped the sentiment from the Believe in Angels Clear Stamp Set.

Lisa - My stash of Birthday cards is getting a bit low so this week I have used a stamp from the Darling Buds Collection, Primrose, to make a sweet & simple birthday card. I matched Primrose up with a simple spotty paper from Serenity Fairy Wishes Paper Heaven 2 , a vellum layer cut using the Lovely Lace Rectangle Dies and a sentiment from Dahlia clear stamp set.

 

Kim I am loving how this one came out! I used Dahlia from the Darling Buds Collection. I colored her up with my copics. The paper I used is from the Vintage Candy pack which I added to using the Bubble dot stencil and some Tim Holtz inks. A little bow to top it off and it is all set. 

Janet: I've used an image from the Darling Buds collection called Crocus. I've coloured her with Polychromo pencils. The background papers are from Winnie paper heaven 5 and Winnie paper Heaven 6. 

Ana - Tulip is my favorite flower so I made easel card with amazing stamp The Darling Buds, Tulip. I colored this stamp with Promarkers. For the background I used paper from Hearts and happiness harmony paper pack. Also, I used sentiment "Love you" from Cutie Pie stamp set.

Welcome to our newest Polkadoodle's Design Team member Gloria! Let's see what she has come up with for her very first Polkadoodles craft challenge!

Gloria: I coloured the Hoppy Easter digital stamp with Copic markers and Prisma colour pencils. For the background, I blended with cracked pistachio Distress Oxide ink using a mini blending tool. And I added some white ink splatters all over the panel.

Nelly: Using holly spring easter bunny pre-coloured digital stamp I coloured her with karin brushmarker pro sky colors The sentiemment stamps is also from Polkadoodles sensational sentiments and the paper pad can be found here: Harmony 6x6 paper pack.

Jane - I plumped for shades of aqua blue and matted up a card base using the Park Life stencil and Oval dies. I thought some of the shapes in the stencil were a little like Easter egg wrapping paper patterns. I printed out the Holly Easter Bunny digi and coloured her in the same colours. I hand cut round her and popped her up onto foam pads for added dimension. The sentiment was created on my computer and then cut using the Tags die.

Ruth: I had a look through my stash and found that the little Bunny in the Great Outdoors / Critters bundle was perfect to stamp on a card to send to my three nieces for Easter! I've used Promarkers to colour plus I found a little packet of flower soft in my stash and added some fine glitter to it for their cute little tails. The sentiment has been handwritten onto a Posydoodles Basics Tag die, cut from an off-cut of card.

Melissa: I must admit that I struggled with this 'challenge' a little with the single tone colour. However, once I made my decision it all came together. I have used the digital stamp 'Some bunny adores you rabbit' and have coloured it with Copic Markers. I have also coloured the card stock to match with my markers.

Merja: I used Winnie Easter Bunny digi Stamp and coloured it with alcohol markers. I chose to use pastel green shades (firstly I was going to do it with yellows, but of course my marker said no way and run out of ink). I used Large Polka dot stencil and Distress Inks to background and decided to do some flowers using foamiran and Flower Flourish die set. I also used Fancy Snowflake die to do leaves under the flowers. Sentiment is from Sentimentals stamp set. Happy Easter!

Pam: Our challenge today is Easter Monochromatic Pastel Shades and I’ve selected the Free Tatty Twinkle Easter digital. My shades of yellow slimline card builds the Happy Easter scene with the Tatty Twinkle Easter paper clouds and popped up lamb peeping over the fence in block one. Block two focuses on the adorable bunny girl with her basket of eggs and the dotted background paper and block three completes the card with the cute little chicks and the cotton-tailed rabbit hopping away. What a great FREEBIE from Polkadoodles!

Nunzia: For today, I thought to color the baloon of jasper-hot-air-balloon-fuzzypuffs-digi-stamp as an Easter egg. The paper background is from FREE Tatty Twinkle Easter digital craft, and the sentiment from Winnie Celebrations 1 sentiments - digi kit

WK 10 Card making and Craft Challenge

Annie - My 6 x 4 card design having used Polkadoodles papers (Helga paper heaven 2 bundle and Helga paper heaven 4) printed up onto Matt photo paper, giving great results. Helga was coloured with prisma colour pencils, I hand made envelope and the flowers are from my stash. I added embellishments from the Helga Hippo Embellies download bundle! I used Stickles and glossy accent on the cake! Hope you like it!

Judy: My DT project for this week is a Mother's Day card using Holly Flower Basket. I colored Holly with Copics and fussy cut. The layered oval and the "mother" on my tiny envelope were die cut. An embossed panel is added behind the oval. I added some 

mini flowers, glitter washi tape, pearls and punched hearts.

Kim super fun Mother's Day card using Sparkle Unicorn Gift of Love I paired this fun image up with the coordinating Sparkle Unicorn Rainbow digital papers. I colored this using copics. Then I added what I thought was the perfect sentiment for this image which came from Winnie Celebrations 3 Digital Sentiments. I have used these digital sentiments so many times! Of course I added a bit of glitter too because what is life without glitter?

Janet - For my card this week I've used Sparkles the Unicorn image called Love you to the moon & stars. I have coloured her with polychromo pencils. The papers are from Sparkles Rainbow Papers.

Ana - For this pop-up box card I used digital stamp Sparkle Unicorn - Hooray I colored this stamp with Promarkers. For this card I used digital papers from two collections: Rainbow digital paper and Winnie celebrations 3 digital paper. The sentiment is from Lily Bug Love Quotes bundle kit.
